NBI Clearance purpose

Timeline

Purpose: Travel abroad or US visa? The lady on the eclarance helpdesk told me to click US visa for the purpose since I I told her I'm going to use it on my Fiancé visa. I got my NBI clearance already. Do I need to request for another one? Pls help! Thanks in advance.

K1 visa timeline

10/03/2011 - Sent I-129F Via USPS Priority Mail

10/04/2011 - I-129F Received in Lewville, TX

10/06/2011 - NOA1 Notice Date from VSC

10/13/2011 - NOA1 Hard-Copy Received

01/25/2012 - I-129F APPROVED

02/13/2012 - Called USEM Manila, got MNL#

02/25/2012 - Received the eligibility letter from the USEM

03/05-06/2012 - Medical PASSED

03/14/2012 - Interview APPROVED[/color

08/02/2012 - POE Detroit

09/18/2012 - Wedding day!!!

AOS timeline

10/28/2012 - Sent I-485/I-765 via USPS Priority mail

11/01/2012 - Received 2 texts from USCIS, Received in Chicago, IL

01/17/2013 - Received EAD card

10/06/2011 - NOA1 Notice Date from VSC

10/13/2011 - NOA1 Hard-Copy Received

01/25/2012 - I-129F APPROVED

02/13/2012 - Called USEM Manila, got MNL#

02/25/2012 - Received the eligibility letter from the USEM

03/05-06/2012 - Medical PASSED

03/14/2012 - Interview APPROVED[/color

08/02/2012 - POE Detroit

09/18/2012 - Wedding day!!!

10/28/2012 - Sent I-485/I-765 via USPS Priority mail

11/01/2012 - Received 2 texts from USCIS, Received in Chicago, IL

You must bring the following documentation when you come to the Embassy for your interview:

2. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS. It is important that you submit ALL of the following documentation to facilitate the processing of your application. You may be asked to return for another appointment if you fail to bring any of these documents:

f. NBI CLEARANCE. Applicants aged 16 years and older must have a valid Record Clearance for Travel Abroad Purposes from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). Clearances should be in the applicant’s current name, birth certificate name, maiden name and any aliases or nicknames used, including different spellings you have used of those names. For immigration purposes, an NBI clearance is valid for one (1) year from the date it was issued. The NBI website is http://www.nbi.gov.ph.

Thats what my Fiancees NBI Clearance says.

received May 2nd 2011

NOA1 Notice Date:May 4th 2011

NOA 2 txt/ email on july 18th 2011

NOA 2 received in Mail July 20th dated July 18th 2011

NOA2 in "74" days!

NO RFE

Personal issue in the Philippines

Medical Exam: March 22nd 2012

Medical Cleared on March 23rd 2012

Interview Date:April 16th, 2012......PASSED

Arrival Los Angeles California: July 7th 2012.

Marriage September 7th 2012 at San Bernardino County Hall of Records

Preparing for AOS

ahh ok, will strictly follow what the USEM instructions. I should have not listened to the lady at NBI helpdesk. Thanks for the info, got confused.
