I submitted my OPT application on nov 4th . On dec 12, I received a mail from VSC requiring me to send some documents. I mailed out the documents using USPS Priority mail that night and the tracking record showed that the documents was delivered on JAN 14th. However, it has been almost 1 month, and there is no status update on the USCIS website indicating that they have received my materials. Is this a normal situation? I just researched some previous cases and it usually takes two days for USCIS to change the case status to "your materials have been received". I am really worried. I do not know if the USCIS has lost my materials or not... I tried to call the customers service two(2) times but it is just useless.on my call one representative taken all my details and send the request to service center to followup my process and asked me to wait for 15 days by giving one referral number

on the 3rd day i got a mail that my documents were not reached them, but i have a conformation from USPS ,i really worried a lot and went through all my files for tracking receipt here i found the original copy of RFE which was send my USCIS

this means i missed to send the original copy of RFE with my documents . do i need to send the documents again with this RFE original copy or i need to wait till the decision , still i have RFE response deadline

any help , thanks in advance

Make a copy of RFE letter for your record. Then mail another set plus the original RFE letter (color) ASAP. The former set didn't reach them so there would be no decision at all. They need the RFE letter to assort all the documents. You keep waiting, eventually you will receive a denial. Good luck.
