I know we have been approved, but when will they e-mail us?

Thanks for the reply btw :)

Hey Aaron and Zaruhi,

Congratulations on your NOA2!!!

Same thing happened for us, we didn't get an email or text like the NOA2 but 4 days later the NOA2 hard copy was in the mail.

What does it say?? Have you been approved? Because it says, on .../July/2012, we mailed you a notification telling you this petition was approved...

If it has been approved, then wait for the NOA2 hard copy in the mail. Don't worry about it, its fine.

Congrats Scott76. My NOA2 is around the same time, so should tell my fiance to call NVC to find out if We have a number yet. What is the number to call?? Thanks

I hope everyone gets their approvals very soon because the wait is not so easy for anyone. Goodluck to us all at whatever step of the process we are at.

Your fear is true! I think CSC employees must be so happy about being faster than VSC that they have totally forgotten about sending the approved petitions to NVC :( the average now is above 25 :crying:

Oh no! above 25 days? Phew.. awaiting moment still continue

The weirdest thing is my fiance (petitioner) still get no text or email notification from USCIS, though he included the notification form along with our application. Luckily I have account on USCIS and marked option for send me alert on my email. That is where I found out we are approved.

Must be a budget cut CSC probably letting it stack up till they fill a truck up before sending them. Its cheaper for them.

08/01/2011 Began chatting on phone

10/03/2011 Flew from MSP to Vientiane, Laos

10/05/2011 Arrived at Wattaya Airport

10/06/2011 Met face to face after much needed rest

********** Had to run some errands such as getting her Laos ID, Passport, Birth Certificate, Letter or Certificate of Single Status ***********

*** Everything was ran by me, don't listen to anyone trying to make a few dollars by "helping" you just because they know someone on the inside ***

11/02/2011 Got Engagement Certificate notarized and signed by witnesses and Village Leader

02/03/2012 Sent in I129F Packet

02/07/2012 Recieved Hard Copy of NOA1

06/27/2012 Recieved text and email NOA2

Lol probably they feel too tired and wasting times to work back and forth to send one by one ..or logically dozens to hundreds after the application has been approved. I wonder, what truck are they using to send out our applications to NVC? Haha

Hi, congrats on NVC!!! Did you have a "touch" indidcated on your USCIS case on or around the day NVC received your file? Still no file at NVC for us...Call today and they recommended emailing them, so I did that.

Just called NVC again at 7am EST--they said that they had received our file (FINALLY--23 days since NOA2)but did not process it at all yet and there was no NVC case number yet. But, they also said that it would be 20 business days until our file would be processed and we'd receive a NVC case number? Can 20 business days possibly be true??? That would be over 40 days from our NOA2 date. Have any Feb filers out there successfully received their NVC case number yet??

1 so far. NOA1 was 1/23, so they're still working on January petitions.

WOW, 23 days? I don't think the NVC processing itself is going to take 20 days! They don't really do anything! Just look at these timelines and you can see that it is usually taking 3-4 days:

K1 Visa Timeline (scroll down to see the NVC dates...see the next pages as well ;) )

of course, I am really happy for having our petition approved, and I wish the same thing to all of you my friends. But, you'd think that getting NOA2 is the end of this frustrating game, but it is just the start of another waiting game :(
