So, here's a question for everyone: when your honey is finally in the US and you get married, are you planning a honeymoon? If so, where?

We're going on a road trip!!

Both of us love going for long drives and just seeing new things/hanging out... I think the plan is to drive from Florida to California, with a bunch of stops in between. We haven't really focussed too much on planning that yet, and we don't know how much time Tom will be able to take off from work (so that'll affect our route, days we spend in certain places, etc)

In a few years from now, I'd like to actually take a trip to Europe - we'll call it a second honeymoon haha.

How about you?

Hey everyone. I just wanted to let you know that my fiancee and I received our NOA2 20 minutes ago. We are so happy. One step closer to being together. And yes we adjusted our timeline already. :P

Initially we wanted to go to St. Lucia or Italy, but because we can't leave the country until all the status adjustments go through, we're talking about going to northern Michigan to a bed and breakfast for a few days and visiting some of the wineries. If we're able to get married in late October like we hope to do, I think the fall colors will be really pretty there!

FYI I thought you guys would like to know I contacted the Congressman office today to see if they could find out for me whats going on with my case. After speaking to the Secretary (friend of mine) she advised me to give it about a month more that USCIS is telling them to contact them after the 6month mark even thougt their estimated time is 5mths because they are running behind. I know we all know this by now just thought you guys would like to know that the congressman office is getting the same response. :wacko:

We're hoping to go to Disney World if time and finances permit. If we can't do that right away, then we'll head away for a few days in the New England area and then do Disney World or a Disney cruise next year. We're soooooo gonna get all kinds of whining from the kids for doing Disney without them. But hey, it's just this one time. We'll be doing lots of family trips there I'm sure cause I'm a bit of an addict :)

We married on Aug 24, 2013 in a small ceremony in MA

We'll be applying for a CR1 / IR1 visa as soon as we are able

The agent I just talked to said CSC is currently processing apps from Jan 16. Obviously not true. *sigh*

Of course this is not true! I called them on last Monday (~10 days ago) and told that they are working on Jan 16! Being approved on last Thursday and seeing the activity from Igor's list, I don't think that the agent gave you correct information.
