Hi guys,

I really wish I could give you my NOA2 approval because I just got mine and I won't be needing it :-( As I had said a while back, we broke up in May but I opted to stay on for the sake of helping others in the future figure out average times from NOA1 to NOA2. It's been tough going and something about getting an approval and knowing how much I had dreamed of this day coming and starting a new countdown to when we would be back together really has me messed up right now. There are tears but they're not the tears of joy I had hoped for.

Anyway, hang in there guys, you're so close to having everything you have ever wanted and so much deserve! May your cups overflow with love and blessing, praying for approvals all round.

Hi, did you manage to get your NVC case number last night? I'm debating on whether to call or to wait the 14 days. Do they email or mail you something or is calling them directly the only way to get your case number?

No NVC number yet. But it was about a 12 min phone call (10 minutes on wait and 2 talking to the guy). He just asked me for the receipt number and said "not in the system yet".

Tomorrow it will have been a week since my NOA2 approval. I'm going to keep calling every day like others have suggested. It's only 15 minutes a day or so to check. And the nice thing is that they're open so late at night that I just call them while I'm cooking dinner or watching TV.

K1 Process -

1/30/12 - I-129F sent

2/2/12 - NOA1 Received (CSC)

2/3/12 - Visa App Fee Check Cashed

6/18/12 - NOA2 Email Received at 9PM MST

6/22/12 - NOA2 Letter Received in Mail

7/11/12 - NVC Received

7/13/12 - NVC Sent Case to Moldova Embassy

7/18/12 - Packet 3 dropped off to Embassy

7/19/12 - Packet 3 & 4 Instructions Received from Embassy

It's so hard right now, I could deal with them being slow if at LEAST they were SLOW. To see nothing happening is tragic. There seems to be no point in checking Igor's list or the forums right now huh2.gif

I figure I 'd get the pumpkin out now, since that's the first holiday it seems he and I will share together.

We talked about him just coming now and flying back from the interview, but he can't work here so then we both are trying to live off my income longer, but I'm close to saying let's just do it. If we could at least get the approval and his medical done, then he could come until his London interview and then they could take as long as they dang well please.

I'm right there with you. I keep telling myself not to look at Igor's list, or the progress reports on the board... but then I end up doing it anyway, and I get disappointed all over again. This really blows. I find myself almost wishing that we had hit the 5 month mark, so that we can get a congressman involved... but in looking at the January thread, it looks like that's not doing anything either at this point.
