I can't remember a time in my whole life hating weekends and being this happy for them to pass

I actually start feeling bad when Thursday/Friday comes around.

Well, even though I am relieved once Monday comes and the approvals start rolling (or trickling) in again for the week, I can't say I *hate* weekends necessarily. They're a good time for the adjudicators to get out and relax and build up energy for the highly productive week ahead--and for us to do the same thing! I'm excited about the future, but I'm trying not to miss out on the present in my excitement. There are a lot of nice things about NOW, too. After all, being able to fully enjoy the present we're in at the moment is good preparation for being able to fully enjoy life with our loved ones once they're with us (without needing to constantly look ahead to something else on the horizon), right?

I agree. We have more than enough time to get everything ready for the interview as well ;)

I get the impression that the approval from 2/28 is a mistake. The person last updated his or her timeline on May 12th. Not sure why they did it, but they probably filled out the timeline wrong. There's another person that says they got the NOA2 on 7/31/12, which is obviously not possible. Still, if there were other February approvals that happened on Friday, I'm definitely encouraged by that!

I think this is so true! We have been doing this long distance relationship/waiting thing for many many years. It doesn't get easier only harder but I promised myself a few years back I need to live in the moment, not wait "to live" for a life in the future.

But it's a constant battle I have to admit. At the same time, the waiting for NOA2 is killing me, but I really try to be present and enjoy a lot of time with family and friends, I will be leaving them soon enough....

I think I ordered my wedding dress last night..... If it fits that is... I need to start thinking about it, I have always had a hard time finding dresses that fit. And I'm not going to have a "traditional" wedding dress.

I have been looking for a short white dress, that fits my body type, that doesn't cost to much and that I can use after the wedding! Not easy here in Norway but I found one at Nordstrom.com (love that store!)

We are doing a very private, low key wedding and the ceremony only for the two of us and I don't want to spend a lot of money on the dress. We also haven't decided how we are going to do it yet and I think this dress fit a city hall and a beach wedding. Crossing fingers and hope it fits and looks nice on me....

I went for my fitting yesterday for my wedding dress. We also are doing a private ceremony at out home on the waters edge. I am lucky to be able to spend the summer here with my honey and as everyone, we can get wrapped up in the planning for the the future and forget about today. But getting into a normal living day-day is a good reminder of living life. Our laundry is done together, both sets of shoes are left inside the front door and best of all there is a someone beside you in bed. No lonely nights. Not sure how hard it will be when I have to leave and wait for the rest of the process to be played out, but my family will help fill the void. Happy Father's day to all those Dads, and let's have an awesome week.

Terri
