So I called USCIS .. Just for kicks. After waiting 45 minutes I spoke with someone who told me that there is someone working on my case right now!! As of June 5th. She said to give them 30 days to work on it. I'm so happy! Just updating - hope it helps you all! I'm a Feb 24th NOA1 CSC. Good luck!!

2010 I moved to Mexico and got married

2012 I moved back to U.S. by myself to work and send i-130 petition for him.

June 25th, 2012 - our 2-year wedding anniversary!

USCIS - I-130

24 FEB 2012 - NOA1

11 JUN 2012 - NOA2

NVC - MEP

2 JUL 2012 - Case Received at NVC

19 JUL 2012 - Case number, IIN and Beneficiary ID received, gave e-mail addresses!

23 JUL 2012 - Was able to log in and fill out the DS-261 and I made myself the agent! I also stated that I was assisting the beneficiary ( since I signed in as him )

24 JUL 2012 AOS fee available and paid through the payment portal - direct deposit

25 JUL 2012 AOS fee shown as paid!! I-864 package e-mailed to NVCelectronic@state.gov

01 AUG 2012 IV Bill Invoiced and paid

02 AUG 2012 IV Bill shown as paid and DS-260 completed and documents sent!

08 AUG 2012 RFE! :crying: sent passport photos wrong, so re-sent!

15 AUG 2012 case COMPLETE!!! Yay!!

13 SEP 2012 Received Interview Date! OCT. 5th!

20 SEP 2012 Scheduled ASC appointment by calling 7034392313. Two days earlier I logged into the website but it said there were no appointments available. But when I called, they scheduled an appointment for me. :)

VSC approved a petition from February 1st. OMG!!! I'm so happy. Wowwww!! The wait for NOA2 is coming to an end my fellow petitioners. It's coming. Come fast. I'm so exited already :whistle::dance:

WOW an NOA2 from February 24th. And from CSC.....

Let the flood gates open!!!!!! I pray that I will have something in the next 2 weeks.

I was working on the post-NOA2 forms tonight and I accidently pressed "call" when I was looking up my fiancee's phone number. I called her at 5AM. Yikes. I know she thinks I was calling her to tell her NOA2 news. I feel like the biggest **** alive right now.

Wait .... What!!! :wow: Congratssss dear ;) what a journey!! It's just happiness when the worst comes to an end because the people at the service centers take so long to work on the petitions. Good luck on the rest of the journey ;)

I received my NOA1 at 1:44am on February 16th. This is why I can't stay away from checking my phone every now and then anytime.

Guys, let us keep the thread alive even after our NOA2 because I know that I, personally, will have tons of questions and will be needing your help till the end and you've all been helpful, just by sharing your experience :)

I was working on the post-NOA2 forms tonight and I accidently pressed "call" when I was looking up my fiancee's phone number. I called her at 5AM. Yikes. I know she thinks I was calling her to tell her NOA2 news. I feel like the biggest **** alive right now.

It's really time to get everything ready because i heard that it flies after the NOA2.

I think the minute I see the word "approved" on my phone or email, I'll call my fiancé even if it must be at 2 am to share the good news. I can imagine myself screaming and just crying because of happiness.

About calling USCIS, I dialed as if to check my status, to be honest, I wasn't expecting them to tell me anything. I got a customer service rep and told her that I didn't receive my NOA1 in the mail (which is true, it got lost, good thing I changed my address way back so I know NOA2 will come to this address!) I wanted to talk to someone about getting it. So she transferred me to someone "higher up" (I was on hold for 40 minutes just FYI) who said that she couldn't resend the NOA1 but I won't need it as long as I have the receipt number, which I got in an e-mail. Then she gladly gave me the run-down on my case. I didn't know I could find out that stuff so early on. I guess if you ask to speak about your case or the status of your case, then someone can help you.
