How's it hanging Feb peeps? cool.gif

Julian and I are getting restless. yes.gif These last few weeks (hopefully) are clearly the hardest AND London will most likely take 2 months to give us an interview. I sent him all the docs he needs after NOA2 including my orig birth certificate and divorce decree which I don't even think he'll need in London. Now I'm worried that I'll get an RFE for those two docs. huh.gif Let's hope not.

In other news. The company I created last year turns 1 this month!!! I am soooooo very proud.

I am right at the start of February (Feb 2nd) so I am hoping to maybe by chance get approved in the next 2 weeks or so.

Odd question, but has anyone else noticed that when you look at the open petitions for December (CSC) that a lot of the users profiles are unable to view? Does that mean those people went AWOL?

That's super cool Mary! And, how awesome is that, about Lady Godiva being your 31st great grandmother?! Congrats on 1 year :)

....

I'm enjoying my last couple of days in Florida... but I'm really sad to be packing up! My parents were also down, so earlier today, we went to see my #1 choice for wedding venue. It was actually my first time seeing it in person (I saw it online, and sent Tom to check it out LOL). I absolutely LOVE it. I'm just waiting to hear back from their director if they can put some sort of clause in the contract just in case we need to bump the date for visa purposes... and as long as they say yes, I'm pretty sure that I'm ready to book it! SO excited!

Tomorrow, Tom and I are going to check out the Harry Potter world inside Universal Studios in Orlando. He's been dying to see that for a while now, so I splurged and got us some tickets, since I'm flying out of the Orlando airport on Friday morning anyway, and Thursday/Friday are his days off from work.

It's been a great week, but I'm so sad to see it coming to an end! :(

Some might have, but I believe there is also an option for hiding your profile from others, yet still being active. I know this because I've seen inaccessible profiles update in the Igor's list with NOA2, so I imagine there are some of both.

Mary, that's awesome!! I'm actually a union stage manager who is also a company member of a three year old theater company, so I know how tough it must have been to keep it going for a year. That's no small task. It's cool to see another theater person on VJ!

So, I've found out that the best way to take your mind off of the NOA2 is moving. I was bummed about it a few weeks ago, but now I'm in full rental search mode, and it's totally taking my mind off of immigration. So, if you want to stop thinking about the NOA2, move house. I can't believe it takes moving to get me to stop thinking about it nonstop, but there it is.

Cori,

Yes definitely I'm searching and packing right now too and that totally keeps me focused on the future and not on the states of this site. It's all about distraction LOL! tongue_ss.gif

How is everyone? It's been a little quiet lately around here. Not that I'm helping: I'm just so tired of all of this that I'm just in trudging-along mode. Can't remember if I mentioned this, but I just started a new part-time extra job this week, so that at least makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something immigration-related.

Why is it that VSC almost never seems to do much of anything on Fridays? (Not that *I* really do much of anything at work on Fridays, haha.)

Joy (& Aaron, who doesn't read/post here yet)

It's SO funny that you mentioned that as I was thinking the same thing when I woke up this morning and hoped to see that some folks had updated their stats with 6/7. Nothing yesterday either and nothing so far today?!?!?

I wish I could do no work on Thursday and Friday. blink.gif

and the waiters just keep on waiting...sad.gif

Hopefully, VSC will pull it together and get us out of the way for all of you. Right now, it's pretty rough. June should be a great month for adjudications. This week was slow again. We need to really see a change next week, or it's looking very grim.

I agree. For once in my life I'm actually looking forward to a Monday. CSC had some progress this week, but they're just barely in January. Let's go February!!

I just got back yesterday, and I swear, every time I go down there it's harder and harder to say goodbye. It's so QUIET in my little apartment. I miss having him around. I sure hope those NOA2s start coming in for us February peeps, soon! We still have a long road ahead of us too, because I hear the Montreal consulate is virtually impossible to get an interview earlier than a 2 month wait. This is killing me. LOL.
