Thanks Mary. I'm totally stressing now... I reaaaallly hope it turns out to be nothing. It would suck to have to wait out the processing for an RFE, after all this waiting - especially since we have to send an updated letter of intent with the next package anyway.

I guess all I can do is... wait. LOL. That seems to be the name of the game!

I agree with Mary. I hope they dont catch it. Seems like a typo and not a major error. You should be fine.

Hugs!

Finally, CSC has started on the January petitions and I'm so excited because I filed mid January, so I know they'll be getting to us soon...

So we all have to keep our fingers crossed as we pray, so we can all get approved and finally be with the people we love...

Goodluck to us all, and God speed on our petitions.

ARGH!!

I was just looking at my binder of paperwork, as I'm preparing to go down to visit Tom tomorrow, and I realized we have a mistake. I'm totally expecting us to get an RFE now :(

In HIS letter of intent (he's the USC), it says he intends "to do so within 90 days of my arrival into the US using the K-1 visa"... it should say HER instead of MY. He's already IN the US, and not entering on a k-1 visa. *siiiiiigh* ... I HOPE that they wouldn't nitpick over a typo like that. But I feel like they might :(

Ughhhhhh :(

Your going to be ok. Hope they won't catch it and besides its just a minor typo that should be very easy to correct instead of a full RFE. But you are going to be ok. Hugs and don't worry too much about it...Lighten up and enjoy your trip. Put it aside for a sec and enjoy yourself.

Now smile and hold your head high.

Hey ya'll

I see that folks have their "packet 3" all ready to go even before NOA2 so it can be sent the next day, once they are approved.

Does my fiance need the NOA2 notice for that package or only to bring to the interview (London). I've been waiting to send him all that stuff until I got the NOA2, but if I can get it out in the mail and not wait for that one thing, that would be amazing. Everything else is ready!

Good question. What exactly is needed in the packet 3 anyway? I get boggled down in tiny details and I wonder whether I have conflicting information.

Thanks everyone. You guys definitely made me feel better. Hopefully it won't be an issue.

I'm so excited... It's 3:30am and I'm getting on a plane in 3 hours and having breakfast with my fiancé later this morning if all goes well! :)

I'm hoping we can prepare all the stuff for packet 3 while I'm there so I can just bring it home with me instead of him fed-exing it.

So, last week ended up being very encouraging, across the board!

11 approvals at VSC, 14 at CSC, and 2 mystery ones whose owners haven't gotten around to updating their service centers. Still not the ~25 someone calculated they should be approving at each center to keep up, but a huge improvement. Yay!

For the "new" letter of intent to bring to the embassy is it ok to use the same wording as in the first one? I just thought we write "....still intend to marry...." and adress it to the embassy. Any thoughts?

I am actually going to use the very same letters we wrote for uscis. The only thing gets to be changed is date.. and oh, yes, it'll be addressed to the embassy. should work..

Well, THAT was the fastest 2 weeks of my life...off he has gone back to England...the only happy thing is it's our last separation until he's here for good! Never thought I'd actually miss the snoring, farting, and morning breath that could kill an elephant.

How is everyone holding up with the endless waiting? Trying NOT to follow timelines but feel I need to DO something...urgh!

But it's JUNE - one bit closer I hope!! :D

Sounds like you had a really good time with your fiance--it's always a good sign when the time passes quickly.

And re: the endless waiting? I've moved into something of an action phase. I've got him working on getting a police certificate and a more acceptable birth certificate, and I'm starting to shift things around to get my apartment ready for an additional occupant.
