This is what I did as well. If they want more than that (like official documents of engagement), I don't have it either because it was more like a ceremony involving family and friends. Good luck in the rest of your journey. Send them everything ASAP to pevent delays

Thanks Bobbie12!

Does anyone need a job, because apparently VSC needs some extra hands.

What the heck??!!!

Can you tell my patience is wearing thin. I at least want to see SOME movement. tongue_ss.gif

lolllllll  . I actualy need a job, but as an RN. However I would not mind giving them a hand so they can be up-to-date with the applications and process them as they receive them ...

My projected adjudication date has migrated almost 2 weeks forward over the last couple of weeks. VSC really needs to get itself in gear, stat.

Is there a pattern to these things at all? or do they randomly pick from the january pile?

I'm happy for the late january filer who got the NoA2 today, dont get me wrong, but there are others who applied a good 3 weeks before him/her and are yet to hear a word.

I guess I should have lower expectations ....

In one of the pinned posts (Gary and Alla's excellent dinner with the VSC chair), it says that when they get behind on one type of visa processing, they switch to another. Perhaps if they start to fall too far behind with the fiance visas, they'll start paying attention to us. Of course, I hope CSC operates the same way :)

Patience guys its just all a waiting game. I feel the frustration. Too but al least we are always getting close. Cant believe its been 3 months already though. VSC is probably just waiting for the snail (CSC) to catch up, don't want to make the other side look bad now right?

08/01/2011 Began chatting on phone

10/03/2011 Flew from MSP to Vientiane, Laos

10/05/2011 Arrived at Wattaya Airport

10/06/2011 Met face to face after much needed rest

10/18/2011 Proposed, asked for parents permission and blessings

*************** Time Spent within Time Period **************

********** Had to run some errands such as getting her Laos ID, Passport, Birth Certificate, Letter or Certificate of Single Status ***********

*** Everything was ran by me, don't listen to anyone trying to make a few dollars by "helping" you just because they know someone on the inside ***

11/02/2011 Got Engagement Certificate notarized and signed by witnesses and Village Leader

02/03/2012 Sent in I129F Packet

02/07/2012 Recieved Hard Copy of NOA1

06/27/2012 Recieved text and email NOA2

07/02/2012 Recieved NOA2 hardcopy via snail mail

I'm getting impatient, too, but my projected adjudication date hasn't passed (although with the way it keeps zooming forward, it may never come), so I've got a while before I feel justified in making noise.

For now, though, just in case anyone at USCIS is reading this, I'm going to try to be as positive as I can. Yay for VSC! We realize you're busy and buried under mountains of I-129F petitions, and are doing the best you can given whatever resource limitations you are working with, and we'll all collectively be over the moon with excitement and gratitude when we hear from you.

I'm getting so anxious now that it's getting close!

I drove down to Cleveland OH for the Canadian long weekend (last weekend) with a friend of mine - very randomly, decided Friday night and left on Saturday morning! I was trying to convince Tom to meet me there, but along with the plane ticket, he would've had to miss two days of work... so it would be a rather expensive experience.

Still, it was nice to at least be in the same country as him for a couple of days.
