I've been going batty lately without many VSC updates so I decided to cycle through several *cough* thousand *cough* case numbers and found a number of approvals as late as January 30th petitions.

Just thought I'd add that for anybody losing hope. Approvals are coming!

wow a jan 18th approval today from CSC

That is really nice but I just wonder how they skipped all the way to January 18th when I'm January 14th...Makes me kind of sad but then i know its an anomaly it happens...Just wishing it was mine I guess...

When i hear that, I get so nervous and happy at the same time...Waiting for my approval patiently..and hoping for the best...

The progress is definitely not linear! I've seen descriptions here before of the process: each adjudicator gets a box or batch of petitions, and the various adjudicators do not move through their assigned petitions at the same rate, so later ones can easily get in ahead of earlier ones. Frustrating, for sure. I'm sure most/all of us will be doing the :blink: dance when people who filed after us get approved first. Grrr.

Feb. 11, 2013: NOA1 notice date for I-485, EAD, AP (I-485/EAD NOA1 hard copies & biometrics appt letter arrived 2/16, badly mangled AP NOA1 arrived 2/27; biometrics done 3/4/13)

Apr. 3, 2013: EAD & AP approved (received card 4/11)

Yes, I saw that too! Definitely a (baby) step in the right direction! :thumbs:

ETA:

Oh, and the most exciting thing today: Aaron just called to tell me his birthday card arrived in the mail!!!! :D:D:D I sent it through snail mail on Apr. 24, and really didn't have a lot of hope it would get there at all, much less this quickly! His birthday is tomorrow, so the timing is PERFECT! YAY!

2/2/12 - NOA1 Received (CSC)

2/3/12 - Visa App Fee Check Cashed

6/18/12 - NOA2 Email Received at 9PM MST

6/22/12 - NOA2 Letter Received in Mail

7/11/12 - NVC Received

7/13/12 - NVC Sent Case to Moldova Embassy

7/18/12 - Packet 3 dropped off to Embassy

7/19/12 - Packet 3 & 4 Instructions Received from Embassy

7/23/12 - Medical Exam Passed

I am so happy when I hear more approval, especially, for mid to late January. It means they are getting closer to us. Go ahead VSC, more January filer approvals plzzzzzzzzzzz. Joy, when do you expect to hear about any Feb. Approval? :blush:

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we've abandoned this application

We married on Aug 24, 2013 in a small ceremony in MA

We'll be applying for a CR1 / IR1 visa as soon as we are able

Joy - I echo Meg's sentiment about your parents taking the time to get know Aaron. I remember when I yelled at my mom after she was hard on me for getting divorced about how I wish it was enough for her that I find happiness, and that the how wasn't so important. That and I said if he wasn't welcome at the turkey day dinner table, then my kids weren't coming either. Leverage - it works every time. :P Things are strained but she is trying... I hope your family comes around to support you.

Yay! Three approvals from early January yesterday(VSC) and very late December from CSC, we are getting closer and closer:)

K-1

Feb.14 2012: Mailed I-129F

Aug.14 2012: NOA2!! (179 days)

Oct.4 2012: Interview! Approved!

Oct.12 2012: Visa in hand

Dec.02 2012: POE

AOS

March 9 2013 AOS packet sent

March 18 2013 NOA1

April 1 2013 Biometrics done (appointment April 11)

May 25 2013 EAD/AP received
