My wife had her bio a little over a month ago and we then received the EAD. So just sit back and wait. Keep checking the USCIS website.

I agree - Gavin and Heater were told something similar for Washington! I'm not ringing, I don't want to hear that and living in hope :D I want to visit my kids! But yes, at least we do this wait together and that's a million times better than where we were all at this time last year :D

I just got off the phone with USCIS because I found out that if and when I get called for the AOS interview we have to take with us the I94 document. Because the officer upon POE messed up my document I had to apply for a replacement document (I102). Long story short they messed up that application by generating a second application. Well at long last they just told me they mailed out my replacement I94 2 days ago. Whew.... Things are moving along nicely now.

Question: How many received their EAD/AP card on one card and who have 2 separate cards?

Who has an interview book from our group or has already gone through it?

Thanks everyone

Terri

Rob's EAD/AP came as one card, and at the bottom, it said it allowed him re-entry in the country should he leave, so it was definitely an AP/EAD combo card. Pretty much once the AP and EAD approval notices were sent via text, the only case updates I was getting was on the EAD number, not the AP one.

Still no word on an interview. Actually, we haven't even gotten any notice about the AOS being transferred anywhere, so I think we might be one of those people that doesn't have to have an interview, but will have to wait ages for approval. Our case still says it's being processed at the National Benefits Center. It seems like a lot of people in the December AOS filers are getting interviews, and I even saw a few January filers getting interview dates. At this point, I'm not that anxious about it. Rob has his EAD card and has a job, so as long as the green card comes before the EAD expires, I'll be a happy camper. :)

Exactly the same here! My wife just received one card (we received it today :D) which on top says "Employment Authorization Card" and on the bottom says "Serves as I-512 Advance Parole"...so as Rob said we think it is a combo AP/EAD. Here is a sample I found on Google. Our card exactly looks the same: EAD/AP ... I don't know why, but VJ keeps editing the URL and replacing "immmihelp.com" with "***removed***" !!! Seriously VJ? Are you trying to deny the existence of competition? I thought we are all here to help each other!!!

We also received notification updates only on the EAD number. The AP status is stuck at Post Decision Activity "we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT".

As far as the interview, we still don't have a word on her AOS status, but as Rob said as long as we get the Green Card before the 1 year expiration date of EAD/AP, we will be happy :)

I didn't apply for AP - I was put off by the constant reminder that it is not a guarantee that you can get back into the US. Are you guys planning to use it before green card? I would dearly like to make a visit back home and if it's going to be much longer I am thinking to apply for AP now - tough call
