One thing to remember, when I went to the first window, she asked me when I was leaving for America. I told her next week, October 12th. She wrote it down on a form, so if you're not asked, make sure you tell them is my advice

I can totally relate. I'm so excited that this will be over on Friday, one way or another! After an awfully long wait, things have been very speedy for us since NOA2. My friends at work have been waiting to throw me a farewell dinner for months!

Although many of us are at different stages of the process right now, we have all trodden the same road and can feel for each other. I'm nervous for Gavin waiting on his visa, I will be nervous again next week for SLMcT for the same reason... I'm excited for those who have already been approved, I'm sad for those still waiting... I'm happy I'm going to get to be with my guy soon (he's coming over 2 weeks today to get me )

It's been an amazing and frustrating journey so far... but what an awfully big adventure to come...

Coming back to this page after a long time and seeing that almost everyone is done with their interviews and talking about POE and wedding is really nice

I have a question:

My fiancee went to her medical appointment today and will pick the result up on Saturday. When she asked the doctor about a copy of her medical result (form DS-3025), no matter how hard she insisted, they refused to give her a copy and said that they will only give one copy for the embassy which would be in the sealed envelope. Maybe I am a little confused, but I have read that in order to avoid going to the medical check again in the US for AOS, we need a copy of that form. If this is true, our only chance is to ask the embassy to give her a copy of the DS-3025 form when they open the envelope, however don't know whether USCIS will accept that copy or it should have an original signature! Do you guys have any opinion or experience in this regard?

At my medical in the UK they gave me a copy - photocopy - they said as I'd need it for AOS. So a copy should be fine. At the interview they gave me the CD that has the xray on it, so you may be able to ask for a copy of the form also.

Good luck! Yes, I loved seeing our names on the homepage for interviews. I also had a look down for any other UK ones. When I was sitting around in the embassy, I would look around and wonder who the other K visas people were - I was I901, I saw up to number I908 appear on the screen, so there was 8 of us amongst the numerous N numbers.

I couldn't agree more, and thank you for your thoughts. I had confirmation for delivery tomorrow, so I'll be up at 4am and at work by 5.30am ready for this courier Why on earth did I say pre 8am delivery

NVC told my fiance that they sent our case to the embassy on Oct 02, and today my fiance received NVC letter in the mail. Up until now, we have not received package 3 from the embassy or a notification that they already got our approved petition from NVC. Since package 3 is available on the US embassy website, we have downloaded them and fill them out already, and we are ready to send required forms to them so they can schedule interview date with me as instructed on K-1 visa instruction form for Cambodian applicant. Now what shall we do, shall we email the embassy first for their confirmation of receiving our case before we turn in the package 3?
