Any February 2012 filers?

Yeah we're in response review. The thing that worries me is that I put in a service request on the same day because they misspelled my name. The woman assured me that it would not add time to our case, but I take anything USCIS tells me with a grain of salt. Think I'm just getting impatient watching everyone else get approved and have interviews and medicals and we're still sitting here. We really hope to have the NOA2 in time for Alan to bring to court next week as proof that we're only waiting on the government's permission to bring the kids to the USA.

Fingers crossed for you. It seems a lot of people who received RFE's at Vermont are getting approvals within about three weeks from the time of the response review. Hopefully you'll hear something this week!

Ok, so I have double and triple checked my documents and tomorrow we are off to Sweden for our interview on Thursday. Can't believe we are really at this stage, though at this time it do feels like ages ago since we sent int the petition.

Good luck! I'm doing the same, no doubt I'll check the whole folder through again tomorrow night and on the train in the morning. I know it's all right and everything is there, but just getting nervous now.

I know this has been asked a million times, so here is a million and 1.

I called the embassy and they said that packet 3 was mailed out today. Does this mean we can go ahead and fill out the forms and return the packet 3 checklist to them?

Or do we have to wait for packet 3 to be received in the mail and send it back with the original notice?

I called this morning NVC and told me that they haven't received my approved petition. I called 5 minutes ago and they told me they just received it today and gave me my assigned case number

Try to find some reviews of the embassy there. I read some things about the UK embassy and was then comfortable to send my forms in ahead of time, I don't know anything about your embassy, so wouldn't feel comfortable advising you to do so.

Today started out one of the worst I've had in a whlie. I spent from 10am-2pm at the emergency room with a bladder infection that I didn't know I had till the pain knocked me out when I got up this morning. I came home all drugged up and just crashed. Woke up around 6pm and thought "hmm I didn't check USCIS today".....OMG WE GOT NOA2!!! Alan and I had a little freak out giddy moment then ran to tell our families. Now I can take my pain meds and crash to have happy dreams :dance: (oww, ok no dancing right now)
