Glad to see everyone is getting interview dates and even US flight dates!

I just had a call back from the medical saying I need to come in again next week... I hope it's nothing bad. They mentioned something about my immunizations over the phone, which is strange considering I provided all my serology results and the doctor seemed okay with it.

I will be so glad when all of this red tape is over...

Well fellow Feb filers finally after 7 months one day we got approved. Its hard to believe its here. Thanks to all who pulled for us. Now the next hurdle, Warsaw Embassy changed the rules and someone must go to Poland and pay in cash at a Polish bank the visa fee to get a interview date. Tanya is trying to find someone who goes Belarus-Poland often that will help with this. If not she has to get a visa to enter Poland which takes about 3 weeks then a 12 hour train ride over night and 12 hours back. Then a new visa to reenter Poland for the interview. Its a lot of expense for something other counties can pay online. Our American Government at its best

Glad to see everyone is getting interview dates and even US flight dates!

Really amazed to see people buying tickets before their interviews. I'm not nearly that brave. And it's nothing to do with the legitimacy of our relationship, and *everything* to do with the difficulty of the consulate. I am so wishing right now that we were able to be that confident of the outcome of the interview: everything after Nov. 5 is a huge question mark.

Mariya, I'm so sorry to hear your update. Please take care of yourself.

Joy (& Aaron, who doesn't read/post here yet)

Dec. 27, 2010: First met each other in Entebbe, Uganda while I was visiting my friend/his cousin (12/27/10 - 1/10/11) (visited again Jul. 2-9, 2011 and Dec. 24, 2011 - Jan. 9, 2012; engaged 1/7/12)

Mariya, I'm so sorry for the way things have turned out. I wish you the best with whatever your future brings.

Congrats to everyone who's moving along with things!

Joy, I'm with you. I'm way too nervous to buy anything right now. It's more planning issues until the court date for custody is done. Then I'll feel better and plan/shop. I just can't till we know for sure they're allowed to come here. Right now we're still waiting for the RFE response. This sucks worse than the original waiting for months! It's especially worse cause it wasn't something we did wrong and VSC should know what an English divorce decree looks like. We're not the only ones who've dealt with it. I just hate being cranky all the time

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.

Congratulations on interview dates! And Mr. Smiley things go really fast for you! So great:)

Mariya, so sorry for what you are going through, I hope you find a way out of it.

I'm not buying anything before I have the visa in hand.

We hit a little bump. My interview is next week and my fiance is here with all the papers, just realized that the tax papers should be notarized and it's not.... :bonk: So I guess they will ask for that and not issue the visa before they have it, and that will of course take some time...

Hello everyone,

I think it'd be good to post here since a lot of March filers are still waiting for NOA2. As I can see most people here already got their interview date. My question is that: Does NVC email us with case numbers or do we have to call them? Can NVC provide us with tracking numbers when they forward approved petition to the US embassy? Your replies is appreciated.
