I think this site creates a decent average though... of course not everyone is registered on this site, but say for every one person on here, there are 5, or 10, or 100 other people represented that are not on the site... at least when NOA2`s start rolling in, in bulk, we`ll know around what date frame they`re processing...

Guys, We need to take into consideration that not all I-129f applicants are registered with visa journey website. It means that they could be more December and even January approvals at VSC more than those we have here at this website. VSC is back on track, they backdated their processing time for not being bothered with inquiries about applications that are over 5 months old. Our turn is coming sooooon God willing

Yup my attorney office said December approvals have been trickling in from VSC

when I contacted them. They are still confident in saying mid May to early June as potential time frame for approval.

We're all so close now. Almost there.

1/13/12 - I-129F Petition Submitted to Dallas Lockbox

1/18/12 - Received at Vermont Service Center

Time seems to fly by (at least when u look back). I can't believe I have been waiting for almost 3 months now. I pray that it will be all over very very soon :(

I strongly believe that they are now doing a lot from December and that the January application may have been an expedited application or an exception. However, I am starting to be excited that it is nearby for February applicants (like me) because my fiancé and I just can't wait anymore. And it's not even our first time dealing with that so it seems as if it's been forever that we are after USCIS. I'll now stop wasting my time calling them and just hope for the best, an approval in June/July if not earlier. So good luck to all of us :whistle:

SUCH great news about the January approval. And I looked at the lucky couple's post, and it seems that they didn't have an expedite or anything on their app. So let's all keep our fingers crossed! Paul86 and I had actually messaged each other a little while ago about now being a good time to file, as it seems that spplications slow down and approvals pick up. (Hi Paul! I changed my handle since we last spoke b/c it displayed only my name and I thought the current one would be better.) I know they're only glimmers of hope, but I think a lot of people feel like me - anything to help the wait!

2/25/2012 - I-129F sent

The general rule is that VJ only represents about 5% of total visa applications, so yes, these timelines are not the whole picture! But I feel pretty lucky to have even a tiny little crack of a window into how things are progressing at USCIS...

I strongly believe that they are now doing a lot from December and that the January application may have been an expedited application or an exception. However, I am starting to be excited that it is nearby for February applicants (like me) because my fiancé and I just can't wait anymore. Without any evidence to the contrary, I believe that the January and February approvals are normal applications just like us but are outliers. The VSC approvals are moving from mid- into late December now, so some early Januarys should start to appear in the mix shortly, I hope!

Yeah, I've tried to agitate for TSC to be removed as an option for K-1s, even wrote to Captain Ewok as I was advised to (because he's an administrator) so maybe some day that will be done. If they even disabled it now, it would make a difference to those beginning the process now. And yay, I was so psyched to suddenly see 6 CSC approvals for 4/25...they are alive and well after all :)

And more on 4/26! CSC is zooming along with the approvals right now. (And good call on TSC: hopefully they will change that eventually! Bringing the absence of Kenya as an embassy option to their attention worked, at least.)

And yay, I volunteered to make an airport run tomorrow when our Nairobi embassy-mate and her fiance make their triumphal procession out of the POE (mostly because I want to live vicariously through her)! (Okay, okay: also because I have a car and want to be nice/helpful.) It makes it seem so real! Someday, not too far from now, it WILL be NOW for us, too. Just hang on.

I submitted a separate sheet detailing every occasion when he or I had traveled to be with each other or with family. I've heard it's not like that's necessary though, just erred on the side of caution. Unfortunately, I forgot to include passport stamps (I'd already lost boarding passes) that would prove these trips so unless God smiles real big at me, there's a chance I will get an RFE since pics are considered secondary evidence. I included travel itineraries but those don't carry much weight I later found out because lots of people who have itineraries never actually travel so all it really proves is the intent to travel. If you think there is something you didn't do right, I wouldn't worry about it. Worst case scenario, you get an RFE and a couple of weeks later you're in the clear. That's how I'm choosing to look at it anyway, nothing I can do about anything right now.

Thanks a lot. I just answered the questions as we are from the same country and she is my best friend's sister-in-law. I did include 27 pictues along with my application and these pictures are for various occasions that we attended together while being in her country. I didn't include my passport stamps. Hopefully, our applications will go smoothly with VSC without any delays.
