Had my medical today and it was fast and easy. So for anyone healthy there is no big deal in Norway. I had to get one shot and my son need one they didn't have. He need to get it as soon as we can so the doctor can mail the papers to the embassy. I don't know if it will be there in time for the interview...it's one week away..

My blood test and x-ray are fine but I do have an pre excisting condition that requires daily medication. (not contagious) The doctor said he thinks it will be ok but of course the embasssy have the final say.. It makes me nervous. :(

Yay! :) I feel a lot better now that I can hold that letter in my hand! Only a few waits left, for the day, for getting into the embassy, for being called up, for the passport/visa to be delivered, then the flight :)

I'll know this weekend when I'll be booking the flight for, it'll be 12th or 13th October :D

So you're going for booking the flight before your interview? We want to book my flight and also our flights and wedding...I mean you have to trust and have faith that it will all go ok but there's still that nervous feeling!!! Not made the final decision on just how much to book but think we'll just go for it

Gosh it's like playing Russian roulette. We also want badly to book flight as it is a nail biter. Our own fault... But found out today from Loomis that we can pay for expedited delivery service from the consulate to Loomis office of our choosing. Waiting to hear back from the consulate on that one. I'd be prepared to pay a couple hundred more to guarantee a delivery date the following day of the interview. :bonk: My Honey is coming up fr the interview. Can't wait.21 more sleeps.

Yep, I think I will. I can't contemplate not being approved. As far as I know the interview is to judge you're a decent person, you have a valid relationship and there is financial support. There's not one of those that concern me really. If I was a horrible person, Heather wouldn't be with me. We talk every day on the phone, almost every day on skype as well. Then there's plenty of emails too. With that and the size of our folder of evidence too, the relationship will be proved. For financial, we have Heather and her father for extra security. So we should be fine - That's not to say I'm not super nervous and worried, but I'm going to go for it and book the flight when I know if I'm booking the 12th or 13th :)

Ha, yeah. For us I think we're tired of waiting and have decided to have faith and just book things up :) We looked at Heather being here for the interview, but with me flying to her the week after, we just couldn't justify the $1000 for it.

Hey guys...

Well, no easy way to say this but.. Fiance doesn't want to get married anymore. He said he is not ready and tons of stuff like that... He is scared of the thought that it might not work out in the end.

I am barely holding it together, but I just wanted to get some advice. What will happen if I cancel the interview? Where do I stand? Will I be able to schedule another one some day IF anything changes or? :(

Thank you.

Hi guys. Just want to put it out there that we are at 240 days after NOA1. We contacted the congressman last week and we didn't receive a reply from them yet. With USCIS, we were able to put a service request and fiance just received mail indicating that we need to wait 60 more days and if nothing, to inquire back. Good luck all.

From NOA1 to interview, our K-1 journey took 317 days to complete.

My service request just finished the thirty days and it came back with backgrounds pending and as far as the congressional inquiry I was told to wait 45 business days for a response. I got lucky with a teir 2 rep yesterday that told me i was mistakenly on a administrative hold and put a request that is higher than a service request to get my NOA2 in five days. good luck you have been waiting longer than me i hope the best for you that something comes quickly.
