Any February 2012 filers?

Any one who received RFE within 3 weeks got approved recently? Any hope? Any light? Today is my 8th day since they received my RFE Response and still counting, I don't know until when I'll be counting!!!!!!

I got a RFE response around 2 weeks after I sent in the response. I was finally approved.

Congrats to everyone progressing! Joy, I'm so happy that you'll be seeing Aaron soon and that you also get to see the family you worked for! We're still just waiting here. Not expecting a RFE response for a few weeks so I'm trying to not obsess over it. I've been really busy so haven't had much chance to stress, or to run numbers...sorry. I said to heck with paperwork today and went wedding dress shopping. I think i may have found my dress I have a second consult in a few weeks so I can check one more place for a dress I want to try. This just settles it though, we'll have to do the courthouse for AOS and church/party later cause there's no way they can get the dress in time. I'm super excited to finally be doing stuff for the wedding! Hope everyone's doing well and moving through the process

Darkmoonfaerie your NOA2 is coming. dont worry your not going to have time to worry about how long youve waited . after the noa2 the time really does go by fast. i dont even think about all those depressed days i had...

Hi all Feb filers, well next week will be 7 months((( I checked Igor's list and out of the 15 approvals 9 were March. It seems that VCS has forgotten the rest of Feb filers. I have a service request in but I really have lost all faith in my government that they will speed anything up. I have no RFE's or no word of any kind. Next week I will contact my congressman which I know before hand it will be useless.We had planned a beach wedding for end of Sept or beginning of Oct. Now I think we will have to rethink things. Just venting as I can not be heard any where else. Just keep your fingers crossed for us and I hope all the rest of the Feb filers have a quick approval. Ron

I'll be praying for you, it must be hard to keep faith! But hang in there, our NOA1 was filed just a couple of days before you and we received our NOA2 21 days ago. I can only hope you're on the right pile now!!!

I just got off the phone with the DOS again. The girl told me that the consulate only assigns dates once a month and they have already done it this month for the October interviews. She said that it's possible to still get an October interview, but it'll probably be next month before they start assigning interviews again. If I understood her correctly, they might still try to fill days if there are cancellations.

I don't know if this was correct information or not, but I thought I'd pass it along. It's still not going to stop me from calling the DOS next week!
