Indeed! I'll also cling on to the fact that NVC process K1's straight away as they're deemed as family visas. Here's hoping London does the same and the guy I spoke to was just saying in general it's 6 weeks - but K1s are a couple of weeks So I'm hoping within a couple of weeks I'll have the interview date. I can be then, until 2 weeks if I'm still waiting

I have officially been inducted into the 200 day black hole of waiting with no sign of light ahead. Now at 201 days with a service request that I have emailed for a followup because of no response after 15 days. Now i have to wait 21 days to receive a response and i also have a congressional inquiry that was initiated on the 27th and yet here i sit with no word from anything.

He's just here for 4 days... my parents/bridesmaids are throwing us a Jack and Jill wedding shower (at a bowling alley!! So excited!) - so Tom, his dad and our other Floridian bridesmaid are coming up for a quick trip and then he'll probably come up again in November-ish for our interview, I think...

But still four days of hugging! : o) That's so exciting!

We had our (read, Kim had her) Bridal Shower August 26th. It was so awesome to see the pictures, oh and of course the presents SO MANY PRESENTS!!! (can you see I like presents?)

Yeah we're super excited to see each other, even if it is just for 4 days... it's been a long three months since the last time we saw each other (which i know is practically nothing compared to how often others are able to see their fiances... but it's a long time for us, since it's only a 24 hour drive/3 hour flight - we just haven't been able to sync our work schedules to allow for a trip). I'm super excited about the party though... I ended up planning a lot of the elements myself (I'm huge into party planning, so I couldn't resist LOL... it's going to end up being like a mini-wedding... we're sticking with our wedding colours and theme - 1950s rock 'n roll!

Yeah, Montreal is booking at about 60 days out right now, and we still haven't even received packet 3... *sigh* Oh well... hopefully by Christmas, we'll be together
