Congratulations Merryjay76 and Michel and Kim! Happy for you!

I actually received packet 3 from the emabasssy today! Way faster than I thought, but really happy!

So this weekend I have to finalize my forms and everything.

I had to wait for NOA2 to apply for a police certificate, so have to do that on Monday.

I will also schedule the medical on Monday. It looks like I have to go

get x-rays done at one place and blood test at a hospital in Oslo before my medical...

Good news is that the medical for my son cost 100 dollars, not 475 dollars like mine!

X-rays and blood test are additional.

We are moving forward, feels really good!!

I'm thinking of everybody still not approved! There really is no words for comfort, but your time have to come soon. For me the phase

after NOA2 is so much better. I can plan and move forward and know all of this soon will be over.

Happy weekend to all!

Congrats to the approvals :D

You don't need packet 3 for the medical. I've already done all the packet 3 forms, but I've not received the packet 3 letter from the embassy yet. I spoke to them today and there was an issue, they said that our detail looked like an interview date had been issued - but that can't be because my medical isn't until next week.

Hopefully things will get sorted out OK. I've spoken to London twice and both times the service was good :-)

Oops, I meant medical not interview :-P

The number I called on is 09042-450-100, but it's £1.23 a minute - just so you know. I just said I wanted to check on the status of packet 3 and if it has been sent out. They ask if you have the case id and also ask some security questions. I didn't have to wait long to talk to someone, around 2 minutes once you're through the phone system - I choose the general inquiries option (option 4 I think, or 3). The two times I've called so far have been 8.40am and 1.25pm.

Oh and I did the same :) jumped ahead and booked the medical.
