When I read the email and checked the status I thought I was dreaming!

My fiancé and I are just overjoyed!!!

183 loooooong days! Finally the long wait is over, on to the next step!

Thank you all for your help and support I wish you all best of luck!!

Oh, and I forgot to mention - my new nephew is here! Born yesterday at 9:10am - his name is Matthew Alexander :)

Any news on the approval front today? Did you guys see that poor November filer who just got approved yesterday with NO RFE's? It looks like they were cleaning behind the shelves yesterday. Sheesh! :blink:

Does anyone know how I can get my Manila Case Number? I have heard I need to call NVC, but I can't find their phone number. I thought it was the number I've been calling to get case status updates, but they couldn't even give me a number to reach NVC.

When I call that number though, it just gives me the busy signal.... is it because they're flooded with calls?

I've had that a couple of times but just keep trying and it rings then I get to listen to elevator music for around 30 minutes!!! Not sure what else to suggest apart from that. Hope you get thru :yes:

I got through, now time to kick back and enjoy the wait, Cheers! :)

I just tried again! One step forward...it arrived yesterday but not been entered into the system yet so no case number! Maybe they'll have that tomorrow when I call again :lol:

Greetings fellow Feb Filers! Just popping in to say that my fiance had his K1 visa interview today in Johannesburg and was approved!! We are ecstatic! I want to thank you all for updating your timelines, answering questions, and generally "being there" through this long process. To those of you that are still waiting to get to this point--may your petitions and interviews be approved soon!!

Feb. 18, 2012: I-129F sent (delivered 2/21 per USPS & USCIS; NOA1 notice date 2/23/12; check cashed/email/text 2/24)

Aug. 9, 2012: NOA2!!! [NOA1 +168 days] (reached NVC 8/17, left NVC 8/20; @embassy 8/24; embassy confirmed receipt 9/5)

Feb. 4, 2013: AOS packet sent (delivered 2/6, NOA1 text/email & check cashed 2/11 midnight)

Feb. 11, 2013: NOA1 notice date for I-485, EAD, AP (I-485/EAD NOA1 hard copies & biometrics appt letter arrived 2/16, badly mangled AP NOA1 arrived 2/27; biometrics done 3/4/13)

Apr. 3, 2013: EAD & AP approved (received card 4/11)

Aug. 16, 2013: I-485 approved & green card production ordered!!!! (card arrived 8/26/13) (193 days)

Sept. 16, 2020: interview, Boston (approved)

Sept. 24, 2020: oath ceremony, Boston---DONE!!! (279 days from submission)
