It's the hardest thing in the world. I was with him for a month last August (I'm a teacher and so spent all my school holidays there in the last 2 years) but couldn't go this time. I've just spent my whole summer kicking my heels at home. But having worked out where I was a year ago, I was saying goodbye and coming home. I really don't want to go back to that. As hard as it is being apart, at least we're now doing something about being together permanently - you have to hold onto that :)

Just rec'd an email:

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Request for Evidence

Will wait & see what they need. I'm going to change the timeline now. And glance at the RFE thread.

I'm very happy that our application was looked at finally.

We rec'd the NOA 1 on 2/14/12.

I agree - as much as none of us want to receive an RFE, it's at least evidence that someone has actually looked at our petition :)

I'm very happy that our application was looked at finally.

We rec'd the NOA 1 on 2/14/12.

And if your RFE is simple you will be approved in about 2 weeks from the time you see the RFE on the USCIS website. I got a notification on July 30 on the website and replied to the RFE that arrived in the mail the next day. Since my RFE was very simple I got my NOA2 on August 16. So look at it as if you will have your NOA2 in as little as 2 weeks :)

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12
NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12
RFE reply 8/3/12
NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12

Be my guest! I just created columns for the missing dates so if you find any #s you will have somewhere to put them. Last night I spent a ridiculous amount of time looking for I-129Fs in the gap between 2/15 and 2/21 and didn't come up with much. I stopped at EAC1290454100, having gone by 10s from EAC129044something. It's easy to see why most of the numbers we have came from clusters around VJers' petitions: there's an awful lot of empty space between the I-129Fs.

Hey Joy, your still doing a great job "THANKS" I was looking at the graph and I wonder why it is that everyday in Feb that is on your graph, there is movement except 27th someone posted the other day (from England) that their NOA2 was approved and they had a date of 27 Feb. I believe? But still there is no movement at all on the 27th any ideas? Or maybe VSC doesn't like me:)Thanks for any imput. Ron
