Any February 2012 filers?

Just received RFE this morning. Really pissed because I literally sent every thing (pictures, flight itineraries showing completed trips to each other, receipt for engagement ring) and cannot think what could be the reason for RFE. It is really frustrating to have waited all this time only to be given an RFE. They could have told me this months ago.

Unfortunately, I think they check they have the forms and a few bits, but they don't do anything else before issuing NOA1. Then you have to wait until they look at it next (today) for when they check if there's a box that is or is not ticked or if the evidence is complete etc. I know what you mean though, it is so frustrating! The good thing is that you now know that you'll be approved shortly after sorting out the RFE thing - no longer in limbo as such.

i agree with you.

i am the start of one of the longest chain of 24s (EAC1290487884) and i check after mine and no approvals. there was 1 rfe but like 10 petitions in.

Hopefully, it's something simple and they'll approve the petition quickly once received.

In the small batch I'm following there have already been two RFE's.

Just wanted to say thank you for all posting on this topic. Although I found out about this site well after I submitted my K-1 paperwork, it has been helpful to read the experiences of others on the same journey. I honestly felt like I was more prepared for anything that could happen after reading this site, although thankfully it has not been needed so far. On 8/21 (exactly 6 months and 1 week to the day of receipt), I received the NOA2. Finally! I know there is still more to go on this journey but to have that piece finally complete and moving on is nice.

Sorry to hear about the RFE, Greg and Karen. You should get the letter by Monday most likely, possibly Saturday if your local post delivers on Saturdays. The adjudicators seem to be picky lately, so it's probably something minor. Good luck!!!

And congrats to the NOA2's in the group!! It's only Wednesday and the day isn't over yet. Still plenty of time to crank out a few more!

I agree - as I was trawling through the numbers today I caught myself thinking 'leave ours alone today then'!! Goodness, is there life after immigration? I can't believe how consumed with numbers I am and how much energy I put into refreshing a page!!!

Actually, it will be a bit of a relief to go back to school after all..
