We submitted our I-134 last Feb (obviously) but I have to take a copy to interview - right? How up-to-date should it be? Does it need to be re-done before I go to interview? Or do I just take a copy of the one we submitted with the petition? That's always supposing we evntually get a NOA2 of course...

You should probably redo the I-134 for the interview. It's good to have supporting evidence, like your most recent W-2 from last year or a tax transcript, two recent paychecks from the petitioner, and a letter from your employer. A lot of people seem to be getting tax transcripts for 2009, 2010, and 2011. I wasn't able to get a transcript for 2011 for whatever reason, so I'm submitting my W-2's from last year, but I had no problems getting the transcripts for 2009 and 2010.

40 of the 53 petitions have been adjudicated....can you believe I'm in that last little bit that's not done.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

On a brighter note... THEY HAVE TO GET TO MINE SOON, as there's literally hardly any left. star_smile.gif

Wow! I'm convinced someone is using it as a paper weight for the other Feb 7 patitions! :bonk: Realy hoping yours comes through today. And when it does, street party time - seriously, we should have a national holiday when yours gets approved. Hmm, another national holiday when VSC says something other than January 16th too! :P

Hey guys - a quick question. Been reading most of the afternoon but can't find definitive answers.

We submitted our I-134 last Feb (obviously) but I have to take a copy to interview - right? How up-to-date should it be? Does it need to be re-done before I go to interview? Or do I just take a copy of the one we submitted with the petition? That's always supposing we evntually get a NOA2 of course...

I-134 in Feb for this K1 petition? Just curious as I-134 is only required at the interview stage. You do need the last two payslips/stubs, tax returns for 2011, W2 and 1099 forms and a letter from the employer - If self employed, proof of company ownership is also required, like incorporation documents. I admit you might get away with not having all of this, these are the things I know of that you should have if you want to be sure.

Any assets you list on the I-134 you also have to prove, so for savings for example, you'd need a bank statement etc.

I hope that helps :)

what was the request of evidence?

I overlooked putting an "x" mark for no in the section that asks if I had a criminal record. I then put the "x" and signed it and mailed it the next day. Very simple

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12

Yeah... in a (possibly vain) attempt to avoid RFE, we went for overkill in the original petition - my fiancé is sending hard copies of everything he put in, including his 3 most recent payslips, letter from bank. letter from employer, I-134 form, W2...

We're just wondering how much needs updating

Well paystubs are the last two closest to when you need them, we'll use July and August. Tax return has to be the last one, you can include others. W2 and 1099 forms have to be the last ones. Letter from the bank - if this was as part of prove of savings, then I would guess they'd need to see a new one to see that the savings haven't vanished.

I love the expression "Joy's List" or "Sabi's List" :D I think Igor himself was one of us in the early days who made such a list to keep track of the petitions :D oh, man, those glory days...

Our story: K1 -> AOS -> ROC -> Naturalization (2012 - current)

Thanks for the update but unfortunately it seems that they haven't even reviewed any of the small batch of Feb 14 petitions that I'm watching (EAC1290418064 - EAC1290418072) since Aug 13. But I'm still holding out hope this week will be the week.
