We were also told that our case is under AP in NVC stage, but they sent the case the day after that to the embassy

Because of being under AP at NVC, I searched the entire VJ and asked several members about it and I was almost going to kill myself! But the result was that AP at NVC is COMPLETELY different from the AP that you may get at the embassy level. Apparently, the AP at NVC is just some additional work. You know, like they have to move your case to the room down the hall instead of the next room I think everyone would agree with me that this is SO MUCH additional work anyhow, there is ABSOLUTELY no reason to worry about this. I bet they will send your case out early next week

Thanks: I so hope you're right! The sensation of finally feeling like we're in motion only to slam into a brick wall was not so pleasant. I'm not having the best day! My plans for tonight stood me up, and my attempts to arrange something else for tonight and something at all for tomorrow also fell through, so between that, "additional processing," and spending a lot of time in automated menu limbo and talking to clueless people to try to get my phone line sorted out, I'm feeling pretty stabby. Trying to decide whether it will improve my mood more to organize the kitchen or to curl up in front of a nice Scrubs episode with a glass of wine. Maybe both, sequentially, after I check some receipt #s! (And really, neither of these options is a decent substitute for a hug from Aaron, which would really do the trick.<sniff>)

2/2: 1 approval, 2 RFEs

2/6: 3 approvals, 1 RFE

2/7: nothing (???)

2/9: 4 approvals

2/10: 1 RFE

2/13: 7 approvals, 2 RFEs

2/14: 1 RFE

2/21: 7 approvals, 5 RFEs

Weirdly, all of those were from yesterday and Wednesday, and I didn't see anything at all from today. A lot of the Wednesday ones were new since I checked Wednesday night/Thursday morning, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if some showed up overnight.

NVC now has the VSC slowness. The turtle and the snail.

I think they are pretty quick apparently some petitions take weeks to get to nvc and out to the embassy also. Mine was received in about 8 days and sent to the embassy two days after it got to nvc.

Yes. I also have a few other Feb. 14 petitions that I found near that range.

And also, a tad curious: how was there one more withdrawn/rejected on "Aug. 10" than "Now" for 2/1 (26) vs. 2/14 (25)?

I haven't managed to create a working formula that counts the withdrawn/rejected petitions, so I am counting them manually. One somehow vanished from the 2/3 tally, which should be 4 and somehow morphed into 3. The correct number is 26.

Good to know.... it would be lovely to read about something going smoothly!!! I honestly think that this process is one of the hardest things I've ever done.... and I've done some pretty tough things!

something else that makes me mad is when a person from CSC clomplains that they didnt get their noa2 after 3 months.. -.-

people have been waiting for longer past the 5 month mark and you are complaining about not getting it after 3 months.
