I'm right there with you two.

This week has been particularly bad. It's all I can do to force myself out of bed. I burst into tears at random points in the day. This morning, my mom called me and I could barely speak, cause I almost instantly started crying... and then later Tom texted me asking if I was okay because now my mom and sister are worried about me. They're all trying to tell me to perk up, that it'll come, etc etc... and I'm trying, for no other reason than to just let everyone be less worried about me. But now we're here and it's Friday again... and it just plain SUCKS. I haven't been eating or sleeping lately, cause all I feel is just plain old sadness. I have no interest in anything right now. And I swear all the threads about being approved in 60 days, etc, are simply there to mock me in my sadness.

Please save a spot for me in the 200 club crying boat crying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gif

I can barely speak about it right now. I never would have though it would have taken so long. For the 2/7 petitions I'm tracking, only about 20 or so are left (mine being one) and the worst part is of this whole week, only 2 in that group have been approved or touched at all. It's like they've left us in the dust. Patience is gone and all I feel now is anger and hate at USCIS. ranting33va.gif I'm sorry, but that's all that's left right now. I've not seen Julian since February 26th and I was hoping we could save the money and just get this taken care of, but I'm about ready to just board a plane or have him come here, as I simply have no idea anymore whether it will EVER get looked at. Ok....back to hiding in my depression cave again.

Have a great weekend everyone, and I hope we see some movement today.

I feel so bad for you and the others still waiting for so long. It's so painful and bad to be in that place, I don't think people can imagine. Many days before and the day of our approval I was so down both mentally and physically, feeling sick. Ocasionally crying and so on. I was not myself. It's a horrible place to be in. To just stay positive is something way easier said than done at this time...

But the approval will come and then all of that go away instantly.

I have not seen my fiance since early March, I know the feeling. We too thought to save the money and not see each other this summer, but thats when we thought all this would be done my September at the latest.... So if he can get the time of from work, we are spending the money so he can come here to see us in September, it's going to be soo worth it. So if you do have the chance to go, do it. It will be something to make the rest of this process easier....

Take care!

Those threads about being approved in 60-90 days I still ignore. This system is so unfair it's so horrible....

Oh, I ignore them too... LOL, but the subject titles just STARE at me, and I glare right back at them :(

Ugh, my coworker just played something on her computer, her friend singing the US national anthem at a sports game, and I was like "dude, you gotta turn that off, I'm gonna start crying"

I have had the urge to break my lap top a few times looking at the subject titles and Igors list!! And I'm not a violent person ha ha.

MissAAA, MaryNYC, KTandTommy, and everyone else who didn't get their NOA2s yet, hang in there. It will come soon~

As much as I am thankful that we got our NOA2, I still feel awful for you because the system is so unpredictable. I think if they went by receipt number order, we could feel a little better because it would be more predictable. But unfortunately, they're not. Until then, we are all with you~

MissAAA and MaryNYC, when all of our fiancees come to NY, we should all meet up for drinks!

Seriously I don't know whether to  or :crying: when I hear that. I know they've got their scripts and they're only doing their jobs, but this is peoples lives. Spouting out that load of rubbish, when we all know they're clearly not on those dates is just hurtful.

So, just when you think you might actually be able to slightly predict something, anything(!) about this whole messed-up timeline....

Our case is apparently now in "additional processing" at NVC. There don't seem to be any recent threads about it, but according to the old ones, this could be bad. Like, months longer. :crying:

And of course, there's absolutely no way at all to know why, or what exactly is going on. How on earth did I not realize this was a possibility? For some reason, I only registered the major hangups in this circus as being VSC and the embassy. But hey, there's always room for one massive snafu when you're dealing with immigration, right?
