well today is the 27th night of ramadan. aka the day of wishes. so i hope to see some approvals and not just mine but everyone who has been waiting for a long time. or i wanna see soemthing good happen today!!

I think Tom is going to try calling USCIS today... I'm sure they will tell him "January 16" ... but I'll let you guys know if it's anything different.

i just want an answer to why they are so slow!

They are giving priority to I-130 applications for some reason. A friend of mine filed his I-130 app for his son with VSC on 4/16/12, he was already approved on 8/3/12 !!!!!!!

RFE: 9/04/12

RFE Response: 9/11/12

They are giving priority to I-130 applications for some reason. A friend of mine filed his I-130 app for his son with VSC on 4/16/12, he was already approved on 8/3/12 !!!!!!!

i dont think anyone knows for sure why they are delaying the k1 process because they arent giving answers . we are just trying to find a reason ourselves. some people say that obama thing or some say they are doing other types of petitions. but i want a REAL answer from THEM!

Well, today we hit the 6 month mark. Definately didn't expect to wait this long when wwe started this journey. Just wondering if anyone else was planning to get their Senator/Congressman involved?

i will when i get back to texas. ill wait until 6.5 months. after that ill start the calling but im really no trying to do all of that. :(

I've noticed a lot of I-130s have been processed in the time we've been waiting for our I-129. We chose this process because we didn't want to marry then separate while we filed... and the speculated processing time was 9 months to the projected 5 months of a K-1.... oh the irony :D

I wonder how long it takes to approved 1 I-129f from the moment they start working on it... An hour? Three? How many can one uscis agent do in a day?
