I know. I can't believe we didn't see a single approval today. I can't take much more of this. My upbeat hopeful attitude for the week is dropping off pretty sharply after today being such a total dud!

Yeah, I just re-check my 2/7 numbers and still not a single thing happened, so strange to not even have a bit of movement...and for Monday...that's like...our best day!!! crying.gif

Was there some holiday I missed?

At this point I will offer up my firstborn for my NOA2! Or a kidney! I have more of both!

Seriously though - this is getting awful. ANd it;s even worse that there is absolutely nothing I can do - it's out of my control.

Do you guys think it's true that Vermont service center has put K1 visas on hold and they're working on refugee visas and/or working on legalizing illegal immigrants due to Obama's new policy? I really can't believe there was no approvals today... I really can't take this any longer.....

I've been watching VSC since May, they really slowed K1 processing down on around June. Some people in VJ believed it was for their H1B visas.

According to USCIS site, now they're prepping for the DACA (dreamers act) and they will start accepting the applications on August 15th. They're expecting large volume, so they say they're hiring more. Wow is right!

So help me God, if they somehow, put DACA first over K1!! We'll see in a couple days. Look, I support DACA and what I'm asking is simple... take care their own citizens too!

Let's face it, Pres. Obama is saving this for his re-election.

why wait till last minute?

At this point, I feel abandoned by our govt

If only we can get our NOA2's before this DACA starts. We've been waiting for long enough, and if we're going to be put on the back burner, I don't even know what to say or do anymore concerning this government and USCIS. Waiting 6+ months for a K1 visa is just unacceptable.

All that should be needed is a proof of eligibility to marry, police record, health inspection, and proof of employment or financial assets, go to a window, show it to a worker and get your damn visa stamped - simple as that and saves the taxpayers millions of dollars.

Really trying not to let the lack of activity beat me down!

My over-enthusiasm and optimism waaaaaaay back in April causing me to choose my dress has put me under pressure but also helping a little...supposed final fitting on the 28th and then I have the pressure to maintain/lose my figure!!!!! On a positive note, the amount of training I do is a great distraction :dance: When those Friday night cookie desires creep in...I focus on the fact I workout with my PT on a Saturday :bonk: It really helps me to think about staying healthy thru all this and being in the best shape of my life to begin my new life :yes: I did let the ice-cream tub win on Saturday night tho!!!

Tuesday through Thursday always seem to be the gravy days for the service centers. They are like an old truck attempting to start in the winter- it takes a day to get them started, but once they are warmed up, they actually move at an okay pace. Good luck today!
