rofl.gif Since June??? Without Julian, my weekends have been less enjoyable since I last saw him in February! blink.gif

That's got to be hard, so glad Heather could be here for May. This is now the longest we have been apart and it's not easy. It's not easy with friends/family either, it's just something people can't understand unless they've experienced it. So thankful for the internet, how hard would it be without skype and social networking?

You'll get NOA2 soon.

Well I didn't cry, I'm a guy *Grrr, me man, strong*....ok ok, there were times when myself and Heather did cry while waiting for this thing to be approved. No motivation and constantly forcing out thoughts of RFEs. It was hard, but the happiness from getting approved washes a lot of that pain away. You're not upset waiting for an unknown amount of time, you're suddenly thinking about the future, are you ready to get moving when the embassy comes calling, to have some actual chasing power now too :-)

I know I'm not going to change your mind, you'll only know when you're approved and the days that follow. Stay strong, it will come and you will be super happy at having it :-)

I cannot wait to experience that feeling. I have such a knot in my stomach about a possible RFE after all this time... I know I will feel SOOOO much better once I have the NOA2 in hand. Until then... I basically feel like this: :crying::bonk::help:

I literally walked over 5 miles of Manhattan today to keep my spirits up and stay off of the USCIS website and Visa Journey LOL rofl.gif

Julian and I are doing a great job of cheering each other up and realizing that at least this time gives us time to pay off bills and prepare for our life together. So we are just trying to be as productive as possible. wacko.gif

At least my timeline is no longer moving back rofl.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gif

Haha, after I got tired of crying, I decided to go to the mall and spend lots of money :) And then went and hung out at my parents house and tried to figure out the answer to question #35 in the DS-230 form (list all the times you've visited the US... Seriously!? I live in Canada... I'm down there like, every 1-2 months!)

We're too still waiting for NOA2. Our date is Feb 6. About 80% of us are still waiting - mostly for the useless VSC. You're not alone, we'll waitt together:)

Congratulations Afoyoswa! You should celebrate:) I know I will when they finally get to us. I'll PM you my numbers from my group (receive date Feb.15).

:ranting: I'm so sick and tired and frustrated and what not. I can relate to the people saying I have absolutely no motivation for anything. I have tons of things to do (like preparing to sell my apartment that means cleaning, sorting through stuff, throw away things, give away or sell stuff. And shop for a realtor to sell it.... translate medical papers/vaccination papers, fixing papers for the interview, planning our small wedding and a bunch of other things.)I'm gonna kick my self when we actually get it because I will have to do everything at once, ha ha. But it's really not easy when you don't know when we get to leave....

This wait is really really hard and it's affecting my usually very positive attitude. I don't like it. And friends, coworkers and family are nice and considerate and ask all the freaking time: "Heard anything yet?", "When are you leaving?" (or even from not so close people: "Have you left?") I don't know :bonk: Let me tell you: I will let you know!!

So, now I feel better, getting all the frustration out. :D

On a positive note: Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between August 11, 2012 and August 16, 2012*.

Weee! Here's to a happy week for all of us!

I'm the exact same too! It doesn't make sense that i'm procrastinating from doing one of the things I want to do most...my application for the K-1 but until the NOA2 comes thru there just seems no point! I'm trying to see it as two separate periods...a time to wait and a time to act and i'm thankful i'm a pressure worker!

Same as everyone else. I got my NOA1 on feb 6th... I am getting so down about the waiting and there's nothing I can do. In the back of my mind I start to worry if it will ever happen for us. Maybe they lost our paperwork? Why is it taking so long... What if something went wrong? My fiancé never wants to talk about it saying I need to be patient and it will happen when it happens, but I 'need' to talk about it because i feel super alone right now :( It feels like everyone from feb 6th or before has been approved and I can't figure out how to check it on VJ. I can only seem to see all the approvals but no percentages approved or unapproved. How do you even see that info?

Has anyone from this thread received their NOA 2 yet? We filed Feb 29 and we're still waiting :(

We also filed on Feb. 29, and haven't heard anything yet. I'd assume it'll take them another one or two months, since it seems like they're processing early February petitions right now. One thing I have learned during this process is to be patient and have low expectations when dealing with government agencies.

Do you mean this little chart to the right of Igor's List? http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=2&option=3&sortby=2

We're all in the same boat! We all know what it is like to wait and feel like we're being left alone with all that we have to deal with. I just keep trying to tell myself that we have already made it this far; the longest wait is hopefully over. Just try to stay positive, even though I know it is hard sometimes. Good luck!

HI Nick and Elizabeth - try this link to Igor's list. At the top you will see the last 15 approvals, and then as you scroll down it will show you who is still waiting month by month. There are still a lit of late January / early February people waiting so you are definitely not alone! Good luck this week! FIngers crossed for all of us - my frustration is at an all time high right now - just want to start my new life with him.
