Thanks, sabi! I actually did, weirdly enough.

--

Just checked the 2/21 numbers again since I didn't get around to them yesterday, and there were 3 more approvals yesterday. That still makes it a pretty quiet day at VSC, unless there's a bunch of activity on a day we don't have represented in the spreadsheet. Here's hoping Monday will be an explosion of approvals!

I surely can't wait for Monday. This process makes weekends depressing. I came up with VSC slogan:

"Vermont Service Center, making your weekends less enjoyable since June 2012"

That's for sure, however once you get your NOA2 it feels like you got your life back... I sort of appreciate every small thing that I hadn't appreciated before we started the process and then got approved... It's weird but once you'll get your approval , you will forget how hard it was. Whatever it takes, 160, 190 or 200 days, it is all worth the wait :)

I like to think you're right, but I'm inclined to believe that I will *never* think it wasn't that bad. LOL... I've been lying in bed crying since Friday when I got home from work... I have no motivation to do ANYTHING right now. This SUCKS. I think I will go insane if we end up with a RFE.

(That being said, I am totally able to laugh at myself and realize how ridiculous I'm being. But it doesn't make me feel any better) :P

In the Philippines you don't have to wait for the packet, you could be waiting until 2020. Get your MNL case number and get started. In the Phils forum you willnfind all of the info you need. The forms and instructions can be dowloaded off of the USEM website. You also don't need a copy of the NOA2 either to get started. Pay your fee at BPI and schedule an interview, the schedule is getting very full. Good luck.

Thanks. MY later posts show that I did find this out. She ordered her birth certificate and cert of no marriage last week (before we received the letter). She should have this any day. I do not want to schedule the interview until she has these in her hands. I will have a package ready to send to her by early next week with the 134 and evidence of relationship.

I need to fly her to Manila for her medical and the CFO course and interview. I am thinking two trips, one to get the medical and CFO and then a trip for the interview. Otherwise it can get really expensive for an extended stay in Manila. Any recommendations on a hotel near the embassy that is safe and not to expensive? If I can put her up for a week and she can get the medical, cfo an interview all done in one trip that wold be good but I do not want to push the timeline too much.

Well I didn't cry, I'm a guy *Grrr, me man, strong*....ok ok, there were times when myself and Heather did cry while waiting for this thing to be approved. No motivation and constantly forcing out thoughts of RFEs. It was hard, but the happiness from getting approved washes a lot of that pain away. You're not upset waiting for an unknown amount of time, you're suddenly thinking about the future, are you ready to get moving when the embassy comes calling, to have some actual chasing power now too :-)

I know I'm not going to change your mind, you'll only know when you're approved and the days that follow. Stay strong, it will come and you will be super happy at having it :-)

I surely can't wait for Monday. This process makes weekends depressing. I came up with VSC slogan:

"Vermont Service Center, making your weekends less enjoyable since June 2012"

rofl.gif Since June??? Without Julian, my weekends have been less enjoyable since I last saw him in February! blink.gif

I literally walked over 5 miles of Manhattan today to keep my spirits up and stay off of the USCIS website and Visa Journey LOL rofl.gif

Julian and I are doing a great job of cheering each other up and realizing that at least this time gives us time to pay off bills and prepare for our life together. So we are just trying to be as productive as possible. wacko.gif

At least my timeline is no longer moving back rofl.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gif
