Everything is going to be fine. Just tell your fiancee to check if the package from the embassy arrived yet and then she can pick it up, so that you don't slow the process down. I don't think the NOA2 is required for the interview but it will be required later on in the process. Goodluck.

After a lot of time on the phone with USCIS, NVC and the US Embassy, the situation is OK. The letter that the embassy sends just has a link to the instruction sheet to prep for the interview, so if she does not get it, it is OK. Our NOA2 is on its way from about a month ago or so. We are losing time because of this but just need to keep moving.

To all still waiting, we have been gathering docs with the uinderstanding that when we recieve the NOA2 we would have a few weeks before the embassy has our petition. We are scrambling now because the embassy recieved everything over a week ago and we just found out 2 days ago.

Spend some time getting everything ready for the interview and then if a mistake is made like ours, you will be ready. I thought that we woudl have had a few weeks, which means that we are now losing a few weeks waiting for docs. If the second letter from NVC did not make it to me we would have no idea that we were apporved.

Good luck to all, it will happen.

So, because I did not receive the NOA2, Manila has the. approved petition with her old address and may have already sent the package to the wrong address.

In the Philippines you don't have to wait for the packet, you could be waiting until 2020. Get your MNL case number and get started. In the Phils forum you willnfind all of the info you need. The forms and instructions can be dowloaded off of the USEM website. You also don't need a copy of the NOA2 either to get started. Pay your fee at BPI and schedule an interview, the schedule is getting very full. Good luck.

Thanks, sabi! I actually did, weirdly enough.

--

Just checked the 2/21 numbers again since I didn't get around to them yesterday, and there were 3 more approvals yesterday. That still makes it a pretty quiet day at VSC, unless there's a bunch of activity on a day we don't have represented in the spreadsheet. Here's hoping Monday will be an explosion of approvals!
