Kennard and all my friends who are still waiting for their NOA2:

I know that how seeing an ***hole like me grumbling about how unhappy I am with our October 14 interview, could be really annoying. You're all right! I should be more than happy that our journey is finally coming to an end and not forget that instead, I could have also been waiting like many of you for the NOA2. I know how hard it is seeing people with later NOA1 dates getting approved well ahead of you trust me, I know! In fact, I can say that all of us know! Unfortunately, this is all because of this unfair system of immigration (if there is any at all) and there is nothing we can do about it. Everyday that I check Jan and Feb forums, I really feel guilty about being approved sooner than people who applied before me, I really do You're right Kennard, I should be thankful that we now have a date and can finally start preparing for our other plans now. I'm really sorry guys, but truly happy to have such a good friends that will support you all the time, despite having their own problems please forgive me my friends

You are forgiven, but I don't think there's anything to be forgiven for. Initially we were looking at 1st week in September, so with every delay it hurts us. We are now expecting to be together at the end of September, 1st week in October latest, but we just don't know any more, there's only hope! We were hoping to have things done and even change of status done by the beginning of March next year - we have a friends wedding to go to in England, but we don't know about that now as I can't travel until the change of status goes through. OK, I know we can get the permit to travel, but we don't want to take risks with a permit that doesn't guarantee access back to the US after going through all of this.

Sorry, I got side tracked, my point is, in this process we build our hopes up at various stages only to be knocked down. So it's OK to be upset, it's OK to share. We all want to be with our partners as soon as possible, we all understand any knock back hurts. We all try to support our partners and be supportive of each other with positive thoughts :-)

Wow, just called NVC for the first time today and they already received and sent my case off to London on Friday. I'm excited and honestly a little nervous! Things really do go fast after the NOA2. Fingers crossed for you guys and gals today!

Totally with you! We we're hoping that I could go in around the end of September. That date has been moved back so many times, that we just don't plan or dream about that anymore until we get the interview date.

This is gonna be a good VSC week though!!! I CAN FEEL IT!!!
