Wow, I go away for a few days and there is a lot happening here!!! Congrats on the approval, Bobbie!! And Kennard, hopefully your RFE process goes the same way mine did. If it does, you'll have your approval in a couple of weeks.

im 1 week away from the VISAJOURNEY estimated NOA2 date, for once its not running away from me.. hahaha :rofl: :rofl:

I know the feeling, we're in the middle of the VJ estimated time - so could be any day. In reality looking at the recently processed ones, I can't see ours being done this week, maybe in the next week or two. Next week takes us to 6 months, maybe we can chase it up then.

Hey guys I found this information at he aila website for the VSC stockholders newletters. I thought some of this information is interesting because some of the feb and jan filers have received refs and because it seems that theres is a delay in cases being forwarded to nvc.

DENIED FOR ABANDONMENT?!?!?

When responding to a Request for Evidence it is extremely important that you place the blue coversheet on the top of the response you

send to us. The VSC receives thousands of pieces of correspondence each day, if the blue coversheet is not on the top of the response it

will be placed in “general” correspondence and NOT sorted as a priority, which may delay your case. Ultimately, it could be sent to the

file as supplemental information, not a response to a request.

After NOA2 info:

Petition for Alien Fiancé (e) (Form I-129F)

 All approved I129F petitions are forwarded to the National

Visa Center (NVC) for consular processing.

 Approved petitions are valid for 4 months from the date

of approval.

 The NVC enters the information into the Consolidated

Consular Database (CCD), assigns a DOS Case number

and identifies the appropriate consulate or embassy for

processing.

 If the visa is denied or the validity dates expire the petition

is returned to CIS, via NVC, for housing, termination

or reconsideration.

Glad to see VSC starting to turn around for you guys. When they finally get around to focusing on K1's full time, I am sure all of them are going to hit at once. Just have your papers ready to send to your loved ones!!!! And remember to scan everything before you send forms overseas, especially the NOA2 letter if you send that!

My fiancee is flying here on Saturday. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Going from gf/bf to living with each other to married in 1-2 months is going to be a crazy time, but I am ready.
