i'm loving it! is your fiance enjoying the vibe in london, mary? hope to god you hear soooooooon.

Hey lady!

Jules is a bit far away in Banbury, I'm sure he's glad to be away from the crowds, but he's excited. It always feels good when your country is the host. And seeing the sites on the TV always remind me of him.

We're definitely using the word "soon" too, in hopes it's in the next few weeks, but we've decided that he can come whenever he wants and we will fly him back if need be.

I'm also in London for the duration of the Games with my fiance and I'm blown away by how polite everyone is in this country even during rush hour on the subway. I just wish they could make up their minds whether to 'keep left' or 'keep right'. Either way it's sure nice to have a distraction from this visa petition business.

Oh and can i just say.. I actually looked forward to passing through immigration here and being able to proudly say I'm visiting my US fiance without any fear of it being a red flag. It's the little things huh?

The beginning of a new week, hope is restored once again. I am getting a little antsy that I will go back home at the end of August without being able to celebrate the news of our approval in person together. Like many we have passed the 5 month mark and I know how utterly pointless it is doing any service request even IF the allow it. So we will keep on keepin on. We also just found out that our medical center for our medicals is closing and we don't have any information as to where the new facility will be. We have a couple in Canada but the airfare across Canada is stupid expensive. Sigh... after going through this process since April 2011 we are getting worn down. We remain extremely strong and know we will come out of this victorious.

Happy approvals this week everyone.
