Thanks everyone :) I'm really happy and was equally surprised to be approved so soon after the RFE response review. I'm sending all the luck your way now, because the rest of you deserve approvals soon!

And congrats, Scott! Good luck on the rest of your journey!

The good news: I checked case status for my cohort of petitions received 2/21, and there is one new RFE from yesterday. The less-good news: I looked at a bunch more receipt #s below the range I had found before, and now I am up to 189 I-129Fs received 2/21, and no approvals except expedites. Thinking that they'll magically grab mine now-ish is a little like hoping an elephant will manage to extract a needle from a haystack. Using chopsticks. From the other side of the Grand Canyon. But hey, it could happen!

Congrats to Cori and Rob, though! Yay, approval!

Hey gang, is it safe to say that VSC is currently workingon February now?!?!?! :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

Looks from the VJ Timelines they are working on February...but after getting off the phone with VSC, they told me they are currently working on January 16th. I have no idea there they got that date from...

Earlier this month (last week?) they had been saying "January 9th" ... for about 1.5 months LOL.

I think they just pick an arbitrary date to discourage service requests :P

JULY 27:

2x RFE

(Almost all the Feb 2 filers in my batch that I'm checking have had some case movement now - out of 14 case numbers, 4 are still in "Initial Review", 5 were given RFEs and 5 are approved)

I didn't see any movement on any other dates... I usually check through the 13th, but I'm obviously missing a bunch of numbers, because I didn't come across any approvals, and we know that Cori & Rob were approved! :)

hahaha lucky you :) i have nothing for me :(

nothing does it anymore, i feel like some kind of a maniac thinking about this all the time =/

Right there with you. Poor Sid said "It will happen soon" and I went off on him. If I NEVER hear the word "soon" again, it still won't be enough. My optimism is shot at this point...we are now just picking a move date and we'll send him back for the interview if need be. This waiting is horrible. ANd now I have to hire an after school babysitter for the kids as he won't be here in time to do it. I should make USCIS pay for it. :P
