I didn't get one of those magic 30-day approvals. Darn. ;)

hahahaha... I know!!! as a matter of fact, I wasn't even asking for SUCH a miracle (my "30 day approval" has come and gone too). Just keeping my fingers crossed for normal 6 (or about so) months approval.

I dug out a page where it shows the dates of NOA1 that are being processed at this point. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/ Might not be 100% accurate, but I just love to see the date crawling closer and closer to Feb ))))

Heh my birthday is July 11 and I fall into the same timeline as you. I've been saying that it's what I want for my birthday too :)

I don't know if it's me but, the days are going by way too slow. It seems like as I turned in my I129F for awhile now and yet it's not even a month. Can we get a fast forward please? That would be just awesome. Hehe.

I feel the same way...I have to keep reminding myself that it's only been 12 days since the NOA1.

Me and my fiance share the same birthday...July 14th. Looking forward to a great birthday this July. *fingers crossed*

Yeah, doesn't it seem like it's been YEARS since we all sent our petitions? Time is moving at the speed of molasses. And yes, birthday presents for everyone! (Regardless of whether you have a birthday in the next 4-5 months or not: early is also perfectly okay.)

That's so cool that you share a birthday! (Is it the same year!) I thought it was a pretty fun coincidence that we are exactly 2 weeks (and some years) apart. It's also convenient that his is first so that it will be pretty much impossible for him to ever forget mine.

I sent him a little care package last week with a friend of a friend who was traveling over, and I just found out last night that he sent me something back! Can't wait to see what it is.

I'm excited... I get to see my fiance later this week! Leaving for Florida on Thursday. Hope it all goes okay at the border... I'm crossing with my parents, via land. First time I've done this since we filed the paperwork - so hopefully we won't get tied up. (I've traveled by air before, and by land on my own, and it's been fine, but I haven't traveled with anyone else yet)

That is so awesome. Have a great trip and take tons of pictures and save your boarding passes/itineraries for later in the proof of ongoing relationship. :)

I'm still trying to think of getting my proof together besides chats and emails. Most of the time we just chat everyday and see each other on webcam. I use magic jack with her once in awhile. Does anyone know how to get the call logs from magic jack? thanks. I wonder if that will be a problem. that's one of my few worries with the process. I front loaded my i-129f with my many pictures and emails and chats. but there won't be too much after we get the noa2 approved. it doesn't seem as strong since i filed. any suggestions? snail mail?

I suggest paper mail. I love writing letters to Aaron and he does, too :) We have been doing it even before we thought of applying for I-129, just to make our relationship more special. We don't have very many but even a dozen or half a dozen should be fine. Also mind that the envelopes have to have the postal stamps on them. Send cards, letters. It will also make your relationship more romantic.

Well, I'm going by car, so there's not really any boarding passes or itineraries. But I'm a part time photographer, so there's always lots of photos LOL.

I would definitely recommend snailmail. Me and Tom used to send a lot more of it before we got engaged... we're gonna have to start doing it again. I'm not sure what magic jack is... but can you use skype instead? It's free, and it gives you a call log. That's how Tom and I primarily communicate.

Whoops my bad...haha. Ya I guess there wouldn't be itineraries or boarding passes..hehe

I'll look into skype and snail mail. Thanks everyone for the advice. I love my fiancee and I don't want anybody to question it because of lack of evidence.

When you first log into your account at USCIS, the first page is your "portfolio" with all of your active cases listed. In the listing for your I-129F, there is a date listed as "Last Updated." If this date is changed (without any change in your case status), that is a "touch." From what I can tell, a "touch" is indicative of exactly nothing as far as predicting approval, so it doesn't seem worthwhile to worry if you don't have one or never do. My "Last Updated" date is the day that they sent the NOA1 text/email.
