I'm still keeping busy policing the recently approved Texas Service Center petitions and trying to pluck out any from VSC /get the members to correct the filing locations. It's kind of fun. In the past few weeks, there was a 12/27 one and a 1/3 one that snuck through, so combined with the 3 already from this week and 10 from last week it's not completely stopped, but sloooooooooow.

Yooo hooo, VSC employees? Come over here and work on these boxes of I-129Fs! You know you want to.

Yes Joy. I agree with you. Our NOA1 dates are very close, I wish if we get our NOA2 by the end of June. I checked VSC lgor list and I figured out the average time between NOA1 and NOA2 for recent approved applicants was about 4 months. Some of them got their NOA2 before that average, and others got their NOA2 about 2 weeks after that average. I am unable to set a date for my marriage because you never know when your application will be processed. Lord have mercy upon us.

Rest assured that they will absolutely have to pick up the pace. The flood of "summer petitions" will not relent, and it's necessary that they do not fall behind. I think we should see above averages numbers of approval the next two weeks. I'm still hoping my timeline estimate holds true...We shall see.

Thanks for the positivity. I have tried to refrain from posting because I couldnt find it in me to mask my growing frustration with this process.

The missed birthdays, graduations, weddings, events...are pilling up and I'm starting to wonder if this would EVER end.

That being said, I'm pretty sure next week will be better. It HAS to be.

Yep! Guess who graduated on Sunday? (me)

Would have been so nice if he was here. And a friend is getting married on August 18. Hmmm. Not to mention that I'd really like OUR wedding to be in October, so it would also be really great if he could be here for that, at least...haha.

Maybe what we really need here with the VSC petitions is some sort of catastrophically growing backlog like we have now. Because they're sure not going to break even with the pace they're moving at, so someone should definitely be panicking about where all those new boxes are going to go if the old ones haven't gone anywhere yet (and then taking action)! Here's hoping.

I know...I was really looking forward to spending the 4th of July with Julia..At this point, without an approval next week, it will be 100% impossible...If by some miracle I get approval next week hope remains. If I can get out of NVC stage quickly...Kiev often has a very fast turn around time. Sometimes scheduling interviews within days of receiving and logging the petition.

It looks like I have something other than the NOA2 to think about. My landlord just informed me that he is selling the townhouse I've lived in for the past 8 years. I've gotta be out by the end of July, right around when the NOA2 is due to come in. When it rains it pours.

Joy - congrats!! Did your family make it? How did that go?

Cori & Rob - That is crappy! :( Though I suppose if you try to look for the positive, you'll be starting your new lives together in YOUR place, which should help with the transition! I hope...

Visit with Sid hanging with my kids has gone really well and they are really sad he's leaving next weekend and mad that I can't tell them when he'll be back for good. Well, I keep telling them that I know but I'm keeping it a secret from them to keep them guessing. :P May as well have some fun with it while I'm waiting!

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend - and it's almost JUNE! It's our turn soon!!!

I'm convinced if we visited VSC last week there would have been a sign on the door saying "Gone Fishing" or "On Vacation." I was thinking the other night how just about a month and a half ago, I was ranging early - mid May approval. Now, it's June...Hoping I can at least get an approval around the VJ timeline estimate....Guess I'll start getting things ready for my congressman. It seems around 135-138 is the magic number now...If I go anything beyond that I'm just going to do the inquiry. According to the adjudicators it forces a pull of the file at the worst, and might even get it worked on immediately at the best. Just want to get this NOA2 behind me now. I thought it would be hard at the end..But man watching this time slip away more and more has been very unpleasant. I just hope that the resources are directed toward I-129Fs now. Not only for our sake but their own. I can't imagine how out of control the build up is going to be if approvals continue at this rate..
