I just got my NOA1 on feb 13. My paperwork really looks good i think. But, in all the hard work I did I still overlooked the fact that the paperwork concerning our engagement that my Fiance' parents gave me has her mothers name spelled wrong. It's only one letter off but still :\ And my birthday month was wrong by one month as well. They did a fantastic job otherwise, even fingerprinted the documents which I found good. Question is, do I now send in a corrected version? Or hope this is no problem and have corrected version on hand? What are your thoughts. Thanks :)

If and when they ask explain as simple as you did here, as long as your paperwork is correct you should be OK.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

thank you for responding. Yeah I was on skype with my fiance today and she was reviewing the 2 pound copy of our 129 lol.. she noticed it first and I felt so stupid for overlooking. I know I should have proofed better but it is what it is now. I did tell her to try and get it corrected and send me a copy. that way i'll have it. thanks for your help.

refering to a corrected version of the engagement papers they gave to me. If they can now be corrected, i don't know.

That's where I lost you?? What exactly are "engagement papers" ? Is this some type of Cambodian government form, or are you referring to the 129F/G-325A?

I'm not sure what to call these papers. I don't think engagement certificate is the right word. But more accurately maybe a written notice that the engagement happened on a certain date, and where, with written approval from parents and her brother. I used it in the 129f as proof for obvious reasons.

Aha, gotcha !! It a written affidavit from the parents. I did the same, but I prepared them myself. So you are saying these were attorney prepared, and the attorney miffed up her mom's name? I doubt if that is a big deal, this is very common error with Southeast Asian names and the CO's realize that fact. We have the same problem in Viet Nam with Western attorneys getting the multiple names out of order. In Viet Nam it usually goes Last Name, Middle 1, Middle 2, First Name
