Hello VisaJourney,

Im a little stressed out ,because all the documentations on visajourney and on USCIS page states that the processing time for I-129F is a period of 5 months. Now it has been 7 months and they state that I must wait another 60 days, Im preturbed because apparently they sent me message thru my yahoo which I never received. USICS states that they need additional 60 days to "continue processing" our paperwork.

Has this happened to anyone on this forum?? we just want to be together!! thanks

Ours was 7, hopefully soon. You should sign up for text from them. That seemed more reliable than the email in our case.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Its natural to be stressed out. Its an unfortunate part of the journey. You can contact your local politician by using their web site. This will result in your feeling like you did all you could & you will find for the first time how little they can do. They will take about 30 days to let you know what you already know.

This has happened to many of us. My own case took 408 days. Everyone wants to be together therefore the journey must be endured together. In the end you will hopefully have what you worked for.

Time for you to study the process, do your homework and clear up confusion about a number of things. If you are married, I-129F is not going to live more than a couple weeks after it's approval, at best. You are not on a K3 visa path. Your case is not in Texas. If you are NOT married, then your case is still not in Texas and you are on a K1 visa path. Study the K1 guide.

If you are married, click on the word guides, at the top of any page here. The K3 visa's "death" is the primary topic of discussion in the K3 forum. Do some reading and you'll understand.

There is no N/A visa and no I-129F petitions are approved in Texas.
