sorry, but for now you can't she is over 21 so you can't file for her. once you file for your fiance and she comes to the US, marries you and the adjust status becoming a LPR. then she can file for her daughter. as long as she is unmarried. it will take a very long time.

what country is the daughter from?

Assuming she is from they same as your fiance you are looking at an 11 year wait( currently working 01) and she can't get married during that time . Married sons and daughters of USC are processing from 92 and unmarried sons daughters of USC from 02

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I really dont know its very hard to leave the girl behind she only has her mother no other family .

We all understand it's hard for a mother to leave behind a daughter. However, that is current immigration law - coupled with incredible wait times.

what can I tell you marines have the lowest morals BUT THEY GET THINGS DONE

That is correct...when the job needs to get done, it is the few that are chosen to get it done.

Well if the mom obtains U.S. citizenship in 5 years, then she can sponsor her daughter for residency. Wouldn't that be a little faster than a permanent resident trying to do the same?

not for the country of Philippines. the wait for unmarried children over 21 of a LPR is over 10 years

the wait for a unmarried child over 21 of a USC is around 15 years. they are currently working with cases sent in 1997

I know of a very same scenario like this...and it happens to be my bro-in-law. he , his parents and his 2 brothers were petitioned since 1991 but it took about 19 years before they got approval. my bro-in-law reached 21 when the approval came so he got left behind here in the philippines. now that his father is an LPR, he filed for him last 2006. he got interviewed in 2010 but got denied. and they are trying to appeal for his case. but we've heard nothing ever since. his parents keep telling him not to get married if he wants it to more possible for him to go to the US. im also wondering what other solutions can we do for them? im concerned too.
