The Arabs were offered deal after deal starting in 1948 with the UN resolution. Every time the Arabs turned down the deal, they along with fellow Arab countries attacked Israel. When they realized they couldn't defeat the Jews that way they resorted to terrorism. Well, that is true about some people, not so true about others. Just because you didn't resist, and even helped in your neighbors' demise to save your own skin, doesn't mean you can expect the same from others, when you become the oppressor. Somebody has to break the cycle of behaving like cattle, willingly going to the slaughter. If it costs the bully too much, he will look for easier prey.
