Which came first? The chicken or the egg? Who is to say who is retaliating for what? When you have your foot on somebody's throat and he resists, does that justify you stomping on his balls with your other foot?

Tuff sh*t for them. They had the opportunity to take the UN deal and instead they decided to attack, attack, and attack more. And always with the help of neighboring Arab countries. Well now it's too late. They made their bed and now they have to lie in it.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Ya, were going to buy into that vid for the fact we were all born yesterday and are still trying to pull our heads out of our arses.

Mark Regev, spokesperson for the Israeli Prime Minister, admits it on camera in the video -

Reporter: “There were no Hamas rockets during the cease fire - before November the 4th. - there were no Hamas rockets for 4 months.”

Regev: “And that’s correct.”

A four-month ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian militants in Gaza was in jeopardy today after Israeli troops killed six Hamas gunmen in a raid into the territory.

Gaza truce broken as Israeli raid kills six Hamas gunmen

Israel carried out an airstrike on Gaza on Tuesday night after its troops clashed with Hamas gunmen along the border in the first such confrontation since a cease-fire took effect in June.

Israeli Strike Is First in Gaza Since Start of Cease-Fire

CNN Confirms Israel Broke Ceasefire First

U.N. Report:

Beyond this, records show that, during the ceasefire, it was predominantly Israel that resorted to conduct inconsistent with the undertaking, and Hamas that retaliated. According to the above-mentioned study, during a longer period, from 2000 to 2008, it was found that, in 79 per cent of the violent interaction incidents, it was Israel that broke the pause in violence. In the course of events preceding the attacks of 27 December, the breakdown of the truce followed a series of incidents on 4 November in which Israel killed a Palestinian in Gaza, mortars were fired from Gaza in retaliation, and then an Israeli air strike was launched that killed an additional six Palestinians in Gaza; in other words, the breakdown of the ceasefire seems to have been mainly a result of Israeli violations, although this offers no legal, moral or political excuse for firing of rockets aimed at civilian targets, which itself amounts to a clear violation of international humanitarian law.

The Palestinian side adhered to the ceasefire, with relatively few exceptions, and relied on violence almost exclusively in reactive modes, while Israel failed to implement its undertaking to lift the blockade and seems mainly responsible for breaking lulls in the violence by engaging in targeted assassinations and other violent and unlawful provocations, most significantly by its air strike of 4 November 2008;

Are we to understand that a four month cease fire, broken mostly by the Israelis but not exclusively, in 2008 (last check it is 2012,) excuses the random if ineffective rocket fire from Gaza this year?

Apparently lobbing rockets into another country is no big deal. It's only a big deal if and when the country that's getting rockets fired into it retaliates.

Apparently continual encroaching onto other people's land should be no big deal, should be handled passively, void of any emotions or reactions on the part of the offended, with utter disregard for self-preservation and with total resignation. Refer to this post

I guess that brave soldier standing around in full gear pointing his rifle at people with little children in the background makes you feel real proud of being a supporter of Isreal eh sport?

America stands for some things and America should not stand for people being locked behind razor wire and starved then shot and bombed when they try to defend themselves under occupation.

Boooooo!

Terrorists shoot unguided rockets hoping to his soft targets (children, elderly, schools, malls, synagogues, baby formula factories....... ad infinitum)

SAVAGES!!!!

i don't get it.

The Arabs were offered deal after deal starting in 1948 with the UN resolution. Every time the Arabs turned down the deal, they along with fellow Arab countries attacked Israel. When they realized they couldn't defeat the Jews that way they resorted to terrorism. My heart bleeds for the Arabs who got greedy time after time while randomly murdering Israeli's and now they are boxed into a corner.

Nobody here is clueless on history and it's not like we have that short of a memory. You make your bed, now you lie in it.

This quote exemplifies why many non-Muslims view Muslims as uncivilised, murdering savages.

Congratulations on providing clear validation of this misguided point of view.

And the lack of comment and condemnation from others, who purportedly decry the continued violence and insist that the Muslim world is vocal in its opposition to those who support the violence carried out by the terrorists in the name of Islam, is also telling.

Personally, I find the opinion expressed in the quote to be morally repugnant.

Frankly, neither of you make sense.

I'm just looking forward to Karee's response when he finds out that Pooky has converted him to Islam in absentia. This forum's so bigoted, someone who isn't even Muslim says something nutty, and Muslims get sweeping bs condemnations over it...
