Dear VJ Members,

We are preparing required documentations for the K1 visa interview: According to the VJ web site K1 guide, we need to show a proof of our ongoing relationship including photos, travel documents, emails, etc from between the time we filed and present (NOA1 date Oct 14, 2011-now).

My question is do I need to:

1)add these items to the copy of the I-129F package that my fiancé made when he sent the petition in (after I receive it from him)?

2)make a separate package to include the proof items and the other required documentations and bring that to the interview with the copy of the I-129F package?

Also, will it be an issue if we don’t have photos taken with my fiancé from between the time we filed and present (we have Skype snapshots only)?

Thank you,

J&N

Most are going to tell you you DONT need that "relationship" stuff until the interview

.......and In most cases they are right, BUT there are a few countries where front loading (Adding the evidence into the petition) has a tactical benefit.

Please Please Please check with others whom have a beneficiary from the SAME country on how to proceed

What you DO need regardless of country is proof of MEETING in the past two years. Ticket stubs, boarding passes, and passport stamps are the best evidence for that purpose. Make sure you DO submit that evidence with the petition.

ALSO- Keep the Skype Screenshots, along with chat logs, phone records, etc.... I usually paste the screenshots into a powerpoint presentation (one slide per screenshot with dated caption), backup chat and phone records to PDF, and then burn it onto a backup CD every month. Its easier to store electronically, and can be printed out at a later date. It also makes it easier to retrieve records and email them to your fiancée as needed.
