One quick G-325a question.

Hi everyone,

Just one quick question regarding the G-325a form.

Under the question: This form is submitted in connection with an application for: Naturalization, Status as Permanent Resident, or Other:

What box am I ticking for my application (beneficiary), and what am I supposed to put for my wife (Petitioner, and US citizen from birth)

I'm sure for mine, Im ticking Status as Permanent Resident, although I could be wrong? I'm not sure at all which to put on my her form though.

Im sure its simple question I'm just reading too much into!

OK, one other thing, sorry!

So at the bottom of the G-325a form, under the section: APPLICANT: Print your name and Alien Registration Number in the box outlined in heavy border below.

Now, when filing the two separate forms as part of the I-130, does my wife fill in her name her for hers, and I fill mine in on mine. Or does her name go on both, as technically I guess she is the main applicant for the I-130?

G-325A goes with I-130 then choose other: I-130

G-325A goes with I-485 then choose Permanent Resident

Applicant is whose information on that G-325A (don't confuse with petitioner) so you sign yours, and your spouse signs hers. And bold border box, your spouse types her name and N/A for A#.

Thanks for your help, however I'm still a little confused.

So, I have 2 G325As currently for the I-130. One filled out by my wife (petitioner), and one by me. Are you saying on both these forms, we tick the other box, and add I-130?

And then for the one I put in with the I-485, that I am filling in, I put tick Status as permanent resident?

And yep, I understand we both sign out respective G-325As. However, in the bold box, do we both fill out our respective information in each box for our forms? Or are you saying, my wife will put her info in both?

Yes, 2 G-325As go to I-130 and both tick the box OTHER and write down I-130, one for you and one for your wife. Not so sure what you mean by the bold box and respective information, however, in the bold box, it goes the same. You fill out your and your wife fills out hers.

No, the G-325A for I-485, you also tick the OTHER and write down I-485 this time. You are not permanent resident yet and it's just an indicator that tells this form goes with I-485.

I guess it can go with both ways then because that's what I did (tick the OTHER box and stated I-485) and had no problem.
