In preparing the package for ROC, we're thinking of including a bank statement for every other month, however, we only plan on including the front page bearing our names, address, and balance summary. We feel that including our entire transaction history would be simply TMI (We're not really comfortable with sharing something so personal). My question is, if we enclose just the cover pages from our statements, would this be acceptable for ROC? We did this for both the I-192F and AOS, which USCIS seemed to be quite happy with. However, I read a thread in this forum where someone suggested copying the entire statement to show joint use of the account.

To show how long we've had the account and for how long we plan to include not only the statement cover pages, but also a copy of our check book and debit cards (the first 12 digits blacked out of course) Could someone please advise as to whether we are approaching this correctly?

Thanks guys!

That's all I did - they also don't need every month either. I chose a few over the 2 yr period - the start, the middle and the current month. If it's the same address and the same names on the accounts during that period, you prove nothing by sending 24 statements. They also are not interested in how much $$$ you have month to month so save a tree :)

Copies of your debit cards don't prove much unless they have the same number on them - I know my husband's # and mine are different despite that they're for 1 account. They are getting a check from you so why send another void one? They've already got one with your joint address.

Think quality over quantity - you're proving a co-migled life and finances.

We just did our interview and when my fiancee presented her documents the Filipina lady said "Oh goood.. you have 2011 1040 !!". I am not saying go in without bank statements but this was obviously very important to them to see the latest year. A letter from your bank, if you get one, should include how much was deposited during the year. My bank left that off even though I asked them to include it !

I only sent the first page of about 4 bank statements, as well as only the first page of tax transcripts which showed names and filing jointly. I was trying to cut down on the extra bulk. No problems.
