Hi folks!

Quick question for the G-325A on AOS.

In the section where it asks for Applicants Residence for the Last Five Years.... I know the most recent address should be the address at which they are residing in the US. However, should the start date be the date on which they arrived in the country? Or should that be the date on which we got married (assuming that's when they became eligible for their residency claim)?

I have looked at the example, but I know each situation may be different.

You put the date for when they began to dwell at that address. Make certain there are no gaps in time. I put the day before she left for the over-seas address date "TO" and the day she arrivedfor the US "FROM" as she actually had to leave for the airport before midnight the date of her departure. Marriage has no effect on the answer to this quesrion.

The question they ask is exactly how it should be answered. Where did she reside when she stepped off the plane? That doesn't take into account spending a day or week somewhere. Where did she live? If she lived with you, that's the address. Just state everywhere she lived while in the US, but remember that visiting a friend is not considered her residence unless she spent more than a month there.

04/29/2009 - Interviewed. I- 130 approved, I-485 pending IO's review
05/05/2009 - Received NOA2. Welcome letter for Permanent Residency. I-130 and I-485 approved 04/30/2009
05/08/2009 - Touched. I-485 approval letter sent
05/11/2009 - GC received in the mail. Expires 2019
05/11/2009 - Applied to remove restrictions on my SS Card
05/18/2009 - Received unrestricted SS card
10/13/2009 - My darling husband of 2 yrs 5 months 3 weeks 3 days passed away :(
