W-2's with transcripts

Hi all, wanted to ask, once we receive our NOA2, when they ask for the last 3 years tax transcripts, do I have to get the W-2's for each of those years? I will be submitting tax transcripts for 2008, 2009, and 2010...thank you

Not for the years that you have tax transcripts, but you will need them for taxes that haven't been filed yet (2011).

What if we have filed 2011 but not received the returns yet.

I suppose in this case, just as you said submit the 2011 w2?

You mean the transcripts are not available yet? They take about 4-6 weeks to be available after you filed your taxes. You can provide a copy of your signed return with all attachments instead of a IRS transcript.
