I miss good public transportation and how where I lived (near a transit hub) I could walk or get to somewhere easy.

Starting to miss the sound of the rain, being from rainy Vancouver Canada to now living in deserty southern california.

And I miss some food: Poutine and my favorite local sushi joints that were so cheap they could of been a "front". But also missing groceries I could find in Canada easier and cheaper (or I haven't found similar yet to where I live now).

And finally.. I miss the metric system. I don't think I'll ever catch onto whatever the hell the US uses that seems random numbers.

As weird as this sounds, I miss being primary on my accounts. I do most of the calling while he is at work, and it's all his stuff, since I don't have any accounts yet here. I don't much like being secondary.

I miss how familiar home is. I miss my parents, my sisters, my nephew. I miss the public transportation back home, so much easier to get around, and faster, and cheaper!
