my girlfriend (the petitioner) is living in california....but can we send our petition to vermont service center since i heard the process is faster there? or our petition will go straight to cali service center? thank you guys.

No read the instructions - they clearly state where you send the petition to. You do not send it to California or Vermont.

Unfortunately you don't get to choose where your petition will be processed. You send your package to a Lockbox that is not in California nor Vermont and USCIS decides for you where it gets forwarded to. Sorry :blush:

Citizenship

6/24/2016: Mailed N-400 package via USPS from Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan

7/11/2016: Received NOA1 dated 7/5/2016

11/3/2016: Received email from USCIS-Seoul Office with Naturalization appt set for 11/30/2016

11/30/2016: Naturalization Interview on Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan. N-400 Approved

12/1/2016: Naturalization Ceremony

CSC seems to be catching up a little bit. And I've heard spring apps go quicker than ones submitted in the summer or fall. SO it's a good time to have your app in.

Regardless, it's out of your control at this point. It could be 3 months or 7. Who knows. Just be ready when they do approve your app and be ready to respond to any RFE they give ya.

K1 Process -

1/30/12 - I-129F sent

2/2/12 - NOA1 Received (CSC)

2/3/12 - Visa App Fee Check Cashed

6/18/12 - NOA2 Email Received at 9PM MST

6/22/12 - NOA2 Letter Received in Mail

7/11/12 - NVC Received

7/13/12 - NVC Sent Case to Moldova Embassy

7/18/12 - Packet 3 dropped off to Embassy

7/19/12 - Packet 3 & 4 Instructions Received from Embassy

7/23/12 - Medical Exam Passed

7/27/12 - Interview

8/4/12 - POE Denver, CO

9/14/12 - Wedding #1 (Denver Courthouse)

9/17/12 - AOS/EAD sent

9/19/12 - AOS/EAD NOA1

10/23/12 - Biometrics

1/16/23 - AOS Interview

6/15/13 - Wedding #2 (Colorado)

6/22/13 - Wedding #3 (Moldova)
