For the AOS with the I864 do I need Bank letter and Present Balance of my sponsor and Letter from Employer or will just tax forms from IRS be enough?

IRS transcripts are sufficient but you will also need a letter from employer showing that he is still employed, since when, annual income etc

It wouldn't hurt to send in as much as you have.

I believe the tax forms and employer's letter are the most important.

This is what I included and have been approved without RFE

1) Some people send in 3 years tax transcripts, I only sent in the most recent year (2010).

2) Letter from employer stating job title, salary and how long spouse has been working for the company/firm/organization.

3) Pay stubs - I think I put in 6 months.

I sent only tax transcripts and was approved without RFE and without interview in less than 3 months (they've changed to wanted an employer letter now I believe)

It's honestly not that hard. As long as you provide the minimum (tax return/transcript and letter from employer) then the rest is just fluff. Not necessary but can if you want.
